I have driven by this place for years. So glad I finally stopped. This is the best Mexican food I have tasted of 6 years living in Arizona. This is my new go to place.

Baja tacos stand is right off the street in a parking lot which serves for plenty of parking. The selection of food goes from quesabirria tacos to carne asada burritos and is exceptional in the quality and time it takes to serve the food. A must try!

Yuck ew and yuck! Super over priced, don't be fooled by the $6 horchata price thinking it's gonna be gourmet, cuz it was disgusting in a small cup. Like drinking thick creamer with cinnamon flavor. The carne asada was so grizzly and fatty, in a baby street taco shell for $4 was a bigger joke. And the seasoning they use is weird. Not a good flavor. I actually spit out my last bite. Me and my grand daughter spent most of the night in the bathroom. She was throwing up & mine came out the other end. Today, I haven't eaten much because my stomach is still crying out in pain. My grand daughter has been feeling it for 2 days now. It sucks because The girl that took our order was sweet. It's not her fault. Oh I should tell you the quesadilla was expensive, but it was actually good. But how do you mess up cheese in a tortilla? My advice...Don't waste your money here.... Seriously terrible for the food you get. And as sick as we were, it had to be bad food, cross contamination, something ecoli related. Unsafe restaurant practices. So many better places around the area. Humberto's never disappoints! On primrose and grand, right around the corner

By far the best shrimp tacos we have ever had. They also make shrimp and carne burritos. The salsa and service is also amazing. It is outside eating but they make sure to keep you comfortable with misters, and heaters in the winter.

First time trying this place and I gotta say the food was absolutely delicious. We bought for the whole family so we got quite a bit of variety but everything was amazing and the customer service was awesome as well. We will definitely be repeat customers.

First time here, and ordered three tacos: carne asada, pastor, and shrimp. All three had great flavor. The shrimp was the best; followed by the asada and pastor. Accompanying the tacos were three sauces. I don’t care for super spicy 🌶️ sauces; so I avoided the red, and tried the green and secret (creamy) sauces. The secret sauce had a nice kick. To drink I had a Coca-Cola. Before leaving I grabbed a Fresca to go. Only downsides were the tortillas used - yellow corn instead of white corn, no refried beans & rice, and dining outside which becomes rough in the Summer. 🥵 Very good experience as service was the bomb… the woman suggested the shrimp taco. Had a good sense of humor as well. Can’t go wrong eating here.
WARNING ⚠️ ~ two weeks I’ve come here hoping to try the Birria, and they were out. If you’re coming here for Birria, call ahead to see if they have it. It’s very popular. One would think that enough product would be made to meet demand; yes? I’m disappointed as they had promised to have it, and they didn’t.

Update: the owner was very apologetic and refunded me the entire amount and offered to make the food himself. Very respectful man thank you Jaime for reaching out. Went to this place yesterday and when my family and I got home to eat the hotdog bread had mold on it at first I thought it was just charred but I looked deeper at my daughters bread and there was black and green spots IN the bread this was our first time here and I didn’t know the shrimp tacos are so spicy I returned both they gave me a refund which is cool but they didn’t seem concerned at all. I thought I’d be fine since I didn’t even eat the hotdog but my daughter and I have been throwing up the following day with a stomach bug. It won’t let me upload the video of the moldy bread but here’s a photo. I honestly won’t be back bc of this. And mind you I spent almost $80 on all the food I’d expect it to be a great experience.
I don’t what’s going. Baja has changed since first opening. I used to visit them at least 2 times a week. Spent over 50 everytime. But lately it’s been different I don’t know if the owner don’t cook there anymore but I’m sorry the quality is going down. I use to buy shrimp tacos Good hard shells a lil drizzle of sauce and this was out of this world. Now it was SOGGY and dripping. I also ordered an asada burrito and so when I bit into it it was filled with more shrimp than asada and I didn’t even order that. To far to turn back. It was good when it was Audrey at the Front And her brother cooking. Now! I don’t know what’s going on. It hurts me to leave this post but I hope it’s looked into.
