The Taco Spot - El Mirage

Not all that. Lower level Mexican food in my opinion coming from Vegas and Cali. Small portions for a higher price. Robertos and El polo are on the same level. One chicken burrito, medium fries and a chicken taco. Nothing fancy. Flavor is common. Doesn't taste better than in your kitchen on taco night. For 3 items almost 19 bucks. Doesnt come with a drink. SMH
Could only really feed one person. I won't be buying there again.

Way too many onions in the birria pizza when we asked for them on the side. Flavor of the meat was good and the crispness of the tortilla was good. But every bite was packed with onions.

Don’t go here. If you want your money worth.i would not recommend this place. Birria tacos was decent but they are using street tacos tortillas instead of the regular. Paid $16 for 3 tacos couldn’t even get my 5 year old son full. I’ll stay away if I was you.

Glad we gave them a shot despite all the bad reviews. Tried a little bit of everything here and most of it was really good, hot and tasty! Birria was very good, consome was delicious, and the orange habanero sauce was addictive! I can see why people complain about portion sizes and I'd agree if I hadn't ordered so much food, but overall we're happy with it and will be back again for more of the birria and that orange salsa!

What kind of taco place doesn’t give you salsa? Churros were cold. Uber says it’s a bottled coke and it’s a Pepsi. Missing our salsa, utensils, and side of limes. Disappointing.

I got the carne Asada nachos sans jalapeños, honestly it reminded me of gasstation food. Nacho cheese sauce rasted like it came from a can. It was a small portion too. 14 dollars... I wouldn't have paid $5...

Save Yourself the Disappointment

I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The prices are way too high for the portion sizes, and the quality of the food just didn’t match up. To make matters worse, the customer service was terrible. If you’re looking for good tacos, I’d suggest heading to Tacos Calafia instead. You’ll get better value for your money and a much better overall experience.

I ordered the queso birria tacos and consume to go and was mediocre at best. The size and portion of birria taco were more street taco size than regular. The birria meat wasn’t as flavorful and lacking that classic birria taste.
My friend ordered the keto queso birria (Doritos) and the cheese wrap was burnt but she enjoyed the birria meat.
The environment is quiet and place was pretty empty for a Saturday night.

Our favorite taco spot! We have ordered multiple times with different items each time and it never disappoints! The food is so delicious that I want to eat everything on the menu! And their mango magic drink is so tasty! Highly recommend!

The food was not hot, the carne asada was cold and hard to chew. The portion sizes were very small, 3 birria tacos for 15 dollars, the birria dip dip tasted like water. If you want good tacos, go to Taco King in avondale. I wasted 120 dollars. Could have got better food from a taco truck.

The food was better than expected, I will come back.
I wasn't a fan of the rolling menue it flipped too fast. It took me longer to read than it did to make the food. The employee was not very helpful. I felt as though she thought I was stupid because I didn't know what kind of food they had. I've never been to the Taco Spot, and they had a few items on the menu that I had never heard of. Let's just say she didn't make it easy to order. But all in all, it was good.
Oh, parking lot kinda sucks..
