Favorite winery in this region.
Wonderful people in the tasting room and great wine to boot.
Found this fine place while wandering the back roads between Sierra Vista and Patagonia, AZ
Lovely winery in the high plains of southeastern Arizona. Owned and operated by Ann Rancone, a delightful host and very knowledgeable about her offerings. Specializing in Italian red varietals and now, her own olive oils. All very tasty and well priced. Highly recommended.
The Montepulciano is great
Best winery in Sonoita AZ. Best one and beautiful place. Awesome people.
Beautiful property! 360 views all around, very relaxing sitting out having a glass. We pretty much had the place to ourselves when we were there and it was very peaceful. The goat cheese spread was amazing!
Good facilities for enjoying wine, customer service needs some improvement, I suspect the individual working tastings was an owner and lacked service experience in the wine industry. The wines themselves were good but somewhat disappointed there was either no cellars or they're not highlighted by the ownership group.
We just opened a bottle of their zinfandel 2011 and I am sorry to say this is the worst wine I have ever experienced.
Most excellent wines.

Montepulciano is fantastic.
Wonderful people. Wonderful Wines.
Really interesting reds..in a good way!
We happened upon Lightning Ridge on our way back from camping and it was well worth the stop. We had our 2 dogs with us and the owner had no problem letting us sit outside with them while they played with his adorable Great Dane. The wine was fantastic and we ended up getting a bottle. We will definitely be back in the future!
We visited Lightning Ridge last month and were greeted at the car by their beautiful Great Dane. The tasting was great and we brought home 6 bottles. Just opened the 2013 Zinfandel and wow! That is a fantastic bottle. Looking forward to the other 5 bottles. We will be back!
