It was a hot Saturday in Tucson, Liz & Pete were playing at Sonoita Vineyards down in Elgin… time to drive down to wine country! Surprise bonus, Don Armstrong joined them. As always when Pete, Liz & Don take the stage, the music was outstanding. And I was happy to discover this venue: the Sonoita Vineyards staff were very nice, kind & professional. We loved our tasting experience at Sonoita Vineyards. We’ve been able to visit 10 wineries in the area so far, and Sonoita Vineyards has the best wines! Their grounds are beautiful. Love being able to go into the barrel room! Very cool. All around great experience. Will definitely visit again when in the area!
My wife and I visited yesterday and had a great time. We tried 5 different wines and thought all were above average, no losers whatsoever! This is a refreshing reversal from our recent trip to the Finger Lakes wine region in New York where we found the wines to be seriously sub-par. Service was enthusiastic and above average. Enjoyed the outside space where we could sit in the winter sun and enjoy. One suggestion: please fix the women’s restroom door. Thanks for a great time.
