If you are visiting Elgin/Sonoita wine region you must visit Vino Stache Winery. One of my favorite tasting rooms and wine. Everyone is always friendly and if you go in the late afternoon you get to watch the long-horn cows meandering by, and stopping to eat the grass and plants in front of the tasting room. The wine is excellent and the price is right.

Great place to experience wine tasting in a picturesque country setting. Don't be surprised to see customers riding in on horseback and cattle grazing nearby. The winemaker, Brooke, makes some phenomenal wines! Her staff, Sandra and Torri are very knowledgeable and welcoming; it's relaxing and informative to just sit and chat with them over a glass or two. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time tasting the amazing wines at Vino Stache. We were the only people there, so we got Sandra (and her amazing dog Cole) all to our selves! We left with three bottles of wine, and two of the wine glasses. We truly enjoyed chatting with Sandra and learning about these very unique wines. Be sure to follow the directions that they list on their website, and don't follow Google maps. I drive a small compact car, and although the road was a little bumpy at times, it was certainly do-able, and well worth the ride! Thanks again, Sandra!

Itâs a little tricky to find at first, but once you do, you wonât want to leave!! This has the most beautiful scenery, delicious wines, and yummy little snacks provided on the tables. Sandra was super helpful and kind⊠and her pup was a great bonus! Canât beat the good vibes⊠a must stop during your wine tasting in Sonoita!

We absolutely loved our tasting at Vino Stache! The tasting room felt so intimate and chill, we loved the owner, Brookeâs selections especially her Sangiovese & Tempranillo. The views were beautiful the vibe was chill. If youâre lucky youâll get to see some beautiful visitors like we did. We will definitely be back!

Ambiance is great but the pricing was double for tastings around the area with smaller pours. Server did want to be there and was not happy to serve our large group.
Don't be discouraged by the gravel road, wonderful atmosphere with delightful owners and staff. Their friendly pups only add to the experience. Enjoyed the wines, we'll be sure to visit again next time.

What a great lil working-winery...a bit off the beaten path, but well worth a visit down the dirt road to the top of the hill. Great wines and friendly owners are worth a visit on the Elgin Wine Road.
