If you are visiting Elgin/Sonoita wine region you must visit Vino Stache Winery. One of my favorite tasting rooms and wine. Everyone is always friendly and if you go in the late afternoon you get to watch the long-horn cows meandering by, and stopping to eat the grass and plants in front of the tasting room. The wine is excellent and the price is right.
Great place to experience wine tasting in a picturesque country setting. Don't be surprised to see customers riding in on horseback and cattle grazing nearby. The winemaker, Brooke, makes some phenomenal wines! Her staff, Sandra and Torri are very knowledgeable and welcoming; it's relaxing and informative to just sit and chat with them over a glass or two. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time tasting the amazing wines at Vino Stache. We were the only people there, so we got Sandra (and her amazing dog Cole) all to our selves! We left with three bottles of wine, and two of the wine glasses. We truly enjoyed chatting with Sandra and learning about these very unique wines. Be sure to follow the directions that they list on their website, and don't follow Google maps. I drive a small compact car, and although the road was a little bumpy...
