Was craving a Taco Salad from here, but I’m picky about the tortilla shell being fresh & crunchy, not stale & chewy. So I requested a fresh one be made, if they were not made fresh that day. The waitress said she’s pretty sure they were made earlier that day, but she’d check with the chef. Anyway the salad came out perfect, the shell was exactly how I like it! So great job by the chef and the waitress for getting my order correct 👍 👍

Definitely not up to the black bear standard. I got there bacon mac and cheese was a small helping, not worth the $16 I paid for it. On top of that found a piece of dirty rag from the kitchen in my mac n cheese. My husband got the steak. The steak was cooked fine but the French fries were over cooked. The salads we got were way to wet. The dressing didn't even stick to the lettace. The only reason they got 2 stars is good customer service. What a let down. Black bear is one of my favorite places to eat and this place needs to be restrained to match the standard we all know of.

I stopped in around 3 pm today for a bite to eat. I have never eaten at Black Bear diner before, I was pleasantly surprised with the Western Burger it was cooked to order and delicious! I did notice my Server Kelly seemed to be attending to myself, and also taking care of checking people out and also keeping up with other people randomly just sitting down at bar. I was very impressed with Kelly’s positive and warm disposition. Black Bear Diner is my new favorite spot on my way home to Black canyon city..

Wow, what a great place to get a big, filling meal! I got a Bear's Choice Breakfast with eggs, a huge waffle, chicken sausage, AND 2 biscuits, and my wife got a delicious burger with fantastic French fries that were creamy inside and crispy on the outside. Ask for Priscilla, because she gave EXCELLENT service and went above and beyond to make our experience special.

This was my first time at a Black Bear. The food was delicious, and lots of it, comfort food, I’d say. I had an omelette and a salad.
My server, Priscilla, was warm and welcoming, and very efficient. I had special requests that must have disrupted the regular routine of the restaurant. She went the extra mile to make sure I got just what I needed.
The general atmosphere was a lot of fun. Bear souvenirs, cute sayings on the back of the chairs, and I’m still trying to decide if I actually NEED a bear-claw back-scratcher or if I just WANT one. 😆

I have been coming in here for years and always try to get Priscilla or Fab they are absolutely amazing waitresses. The young lady that was at the register and that sat me was such a pleasant person she smiled and was very nice. Her name was Nevaeh. This is one of the better black bear locations. Its always clean and food is good.

I’ve been trucking over 40 years. I’ve been all across this country what feels like a million times so I feel like I’m an expert on this subject. I came in and had some pot roast yesterday now the food was excellent but the service was stellar. My waitress was monette. Now not only is she a burst of smiling positive energy, she’s absolutely hilarious. She made me feel like I was visiting and having dinner with a family member or friend. This will be my regular stop now to eat, visit, and enjoy some laughs with her.
This one is a gem, Black coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice, and fresh avocado, what a delight. They have a big menu that will not disappoint. The food is excellent and with five stars for presentation. Old fashion Juke box. Open 6 am to 10 pm

I travel to Beaumont TX, San Antonio TX and Eloy every week and twice a week I am in Eloy. Toni is the best chef at any of these locations she is very energetic and dedicated to her profession. It's nice to see the next generation stepping up. Sometimes I just sit to watch her work. She keeps the window moving. Great person too
