I have been going here for over 15 years. Great place with really nice variety of events and friendly people.
This secret desert oasis paired with its delicious local wine and live music is a reason alone to move to florence. What a shocking experience. I can confidently say I will become a regular to this family-friendly establishment. If you arrive and have questions and want answers, ask for Harold. He is an all-American gentleman with all the knowledge, from the grapes to the weddings and even the lakes on site. This place is a must-see. Cheers!!
TLDR: We had a lovely visit to Windmill Winery. If I lived in Arizona, I’d be frequenting this place… uh… frequently ? The wine is good, the atmosphere is phenomenal, and the whole experience is lovely.
We were able to walk the grounds a bit (see videos) even though there were a couple private events going on, so we weren’t able to see “the barn” but I hear it’s beautiful! We went into the tasting room and ended up moving outside to sit since the weather was so mild. There were fire pits set out in various places throughout the seating area, and a fairly large stage for live music (there wasn’t any at the time we visited which was around 1pm.
I had the Granada, which was a white wine with berry juices and tasted like sweet tarts ? and he had the Chardonnay, which to me, tasted more like a cross between a Pinot Grigio and a Sauvignon Blanc. I’m not generally a chard fan, but this wasn’t super dry and I quite enjoyed it. I also had a sip of the Symphony, which was very tart and dry- almost like a chard/sauvignon blanc mix. We wished we could’ve taken some wine home to Michigan, but we only brought carry-on size luggage and weren’t going to pay to check a bag ?.
Would definitely return if given the chance.
The bathrooms were spacious and clean
Lovely little gem in the Florence area! Their garden is really relaxing to enjoy a wine flight in. Very happy we made a stop here!
Immaculate atmosphere. Super dope. Lovey-dovey vibes.
People if you looking to celebrate don’t count t on there catering !! They will leave your guests hungry !!!!The plates were a joke !! The serving size was like for a cat !!we payed 150-200$ per plate …it’s a SHAME ! The meat was left over and they refused to serve it to people for a second plate …I wish I took a picture of the serving of the plate and hat an embarrassment!!! This is how they make there money !!!terrible
Love this place hidden but worth it.
Great music and wine. Busy night!
Beautiful facility with very friendly staff, multiple venues, great bar, live music, and ponds with fantastic views and private seating.
Great place to enjoy the wine tasting room. Tonight is Sax night. It's a very mellow, enjoy wine with your friends feeling tonight. not very packed but comfortable. Older crowd, but great conversation ambiance.Food truck tonight is Racks and Balls, I had the rib tacos: some great warmth with the delicious flavor, enjoyable crunch of cabbage on top the 3 street tacos: all for $10. I matched the tacos with house Granada wine,

Great spaces to just have a good time. Invite a large group of friends , wear closed toe shoes, and your hair up.
This local venue is the perfect place to wind down the day or escape the summer heat under a tree-shaded garden area. The wine tasting room includes a bar that features a variety of wines and stock liquors. You can sample wines in cozy seating areas or at the bar "where everyone knows your name" (during the off-season) ambiance.
Food options are limited to salads, veggies & cheese snacks, and an assortment of flatbreads during the summer. Food trucks are available during the high season (September through May).
On Saturday evenings, live entertainment is from 5 to 8 pm. Check the website for local talent.
The wine tasting room displays products from local businesses and artisans in southern AZ. Support & buy local!
PRO Tip: Call beforehand to book the latest wine-tasting session available. Then spend the early evening enjoying a bottle with friends in the garden, inside, or on the enclosed patio.
This was a cute, romantic place to come and getaway with your loved one. We came on a Saturday evening and got to enjoy a bottle of Rose wine, Charcuterie box and LIVE SAX! We were outdoors, there are plenty of seating areas, cute benches and high chairs with misters. Patio lights all around. We wanted to explore the area and check out the scenic views but it was closed due an event going on. Initially came to enjoy the $13 flights but was told that was done earlier in the day. I also noted the horse carriage tours $5 per person but I don't think it was available. Overall experience was great! Entry is free. Everything was pretty affordable considering we got to enjoy live entertainment! Wine bottles range from $30+ you can get by glass. Charcuterie was $26 but they do have cheaper snacks. Looking forward to coming back for Sip & Paint!
Very chill wine tasting room. Az and California samples. We loved the Wilcox sangeovesi. Great local charcuterie and hummus. Cool patio to rest on a hot day.
Such a cool place and delicious drink options even besides wine! Worth the drive!
