I was excited to learn about this cafe, but it was a disappointment. I ordered the daily special which was some kind of green chili sandwich, or so I thought. I got a tortilla wrapped around a slab of beef with a roasted chili inside, along with a side of three sisters and a lemonade. The price was reasonable, $12. The food was not. Nothing was on a plate like the photos posted. The meat/ pepper thing was wrapped in tin foil, the three sisters were in a styrofoam cup. The meat was so tough, I took it out and ate the green pepper and the tortilla which was good. I brought the meat home to my dog. She even had a hard time as it was so tough. Not only was the food disappointing, but the photos on this website show something that looks way better than reality. it is a very tiny little place; the person who took my order was typical Apache, which means uncommunicative. No "hello", no "thank you", nothing. It had three illustrations of Apaches on the wall. An old man, a young girl and a young boy with a rifle. I expected so much more based on the reviews and the photos. I would not go back.
Amazing cafe! I highly recommend. The staff was lovely and was willing to adjust the ingredients to fit my dietary needs. The food was also very filling, I almost couldn’t finish it! They also add edible glitter to their drinks and I had it added to my cherry lemonade (which was delish btw). Best cafe ever!!!

Quicker service. I can't believe we were the first one there before they got their lunch rush. We had put in our order before everyone and we waited exactly a whole hour just to get two orders of chicken tacos and the side of 3 sis. Every time I was there before we never experienced a long wait before. The people after us were getting their food left and right. like what's going on? SMH.....
Best Boba tea on the mountain!

Great place! Michael and his staff serve amazing food with a smile. We had lemonades, iced coffee and burritos. It was all tasty, and we couldn't decide on our favorite as all was really good! The gifts hop in the Cafe is also worth a visit.

When we went to White Mountain Culture Center at Fort Apache we had no idea there would be this little cafe right on the grounds. What a nice surprise and meant we could take our time touring the center and the Fort and not be in a hurry to head somewhere for lunch. We had chicken tacos and a patty melt. Both were well made and tasty! Several flavors of lemonade were also available. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely go again anytime we are in the area!
This place is awesome!! Good food! Good people! Delicious coffee!! And a nice little gift shop with beautiful Native blankets, jewelry & more.
Good food, drinks and gift shop. Simple menu but everything is good. Sandwiches, tacos, coffee, tea, lemonade. Staff is courteous. Great place to get a bite to eat while visiting Whiteriver. The location has a ton of history. The gift shop has native themed items, jewelry, blankets, and more. Worth a stop.Closes at 3. Limited hours.
Stood at the counter waiting to order for about 10 minutes; no one else in the cafe. Two people chatting and working in the back but, no one taking orders. They saw us but, ignored us. Left without ordering or eating.

Great! Service with a smile, gleemed underneath a face mask
What an amazing gem at the heart of Fort Apache! I highly recommend eating here and looking at the Native art here. The menu is compact but always delicious. They generally have many wraps, salads, and tacos. The three sisters salad is divine. If they have prickly pear lemonade, buy it! Sadly, it is only a breakfast/lunch place so plan accordingly.
Unique experience
