Batchelor's Pad BBQ

We have never set foot in the place. We always order Door Dash. The food here is not only fairly priced, but unbelievably good for a small town like Fountain Hills! I am a long time native of Fountain Hills (born in Az.) and lived here for 25 years…had a business here for 10 years many years ago and recognize full well that most businesses DON’T make it more than a few years. I can honestly say that this is without a doubt the VERY BEST dinner restaurant in our small town. One day we need to eat at the restaurant just to meet the ownership. Kudos to you guys….REALLY! I will introduce myself to y’all when we finally come in for dinner OR lunch. If you are native to Fountain Hills, or just passing through, do yourself a favor and give this fine dining establishment an honest try, you won’t believe the authentic BBQ flavor and taste they have mastered here!!

So yummy! Service is amazing. The family is super nice. This is an awesome little place with good food!

**update** It’s been a year or two since my review and I am excited to say it’s still the same level of awesomeness. Love that their fries are gluten free as well. The street tacos with Gabe sauce is still my favorite.

I went here because I work around the corner and have been dying to try this place! A couple of Fridays ago I stopped in (they open at noon on Friday and Saturday's!) Get there early before they run out of meat...once it's gone it is...gone and they will close early if sold out!
Ribs, ribs, ribs!!!! I chose the dry rub with sauce on the side for true full flavor of the meaty delicious tender ribs...droool...the meat just fell off the bones, beautiful bark, look at those pictures, if that doesn't want to get you there, then there truly is something wrong with you and your taste buds. I couldn't finish them all in one sitting (big eyes small stomach!)
Omfg chili house made a must add, perfect texture and consistency. Yes you get a bite of goodness in every single mfn scoop! Pair that with the housemate cornbread. O the moist landing on the taste buds, then dip that in the chili! HEAVEN!
If you haven't been there you are truly missing out on the BEST (yesterday I said it!!) BBQ IN FOUNTIAN HILLS HANDS DOWN!
The staff was amazing and informative....there may be a all meat platter coming soon...that is my next killer meal! Paul

I haven’t actually been yet but saw the owner on Amagansett press. Seems like a great guy and the bbq looks awesome. Plan to take the drive soon from AJ.

We are always looking for good bbq. This is actually great bbq!! The staff is nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back!! The honey ribs and smoked turkey were definitely top notch!

Love the Batchelor Pad. It is a great family place full of life. It is great to see people of all ages in the environment and all interact like a family reunion. Food is great I have had everything on the menu, hard to pick a favorite, just depends on my mood. Service is amazing, always greeted when we walk in the door and interactions through he evening are fun. Atmosphere is amazing, again I love the family atmosphere, I don’t know any place in Fountain Hills like this. People interact with each other like old friends.

Absolutely spectacular BBQ with multiple sauce options in a casual setting where each employee treats you like family. Small town atmosphere with top rate brisket, pulled pork and one of the greatest BBQ Baby Back Rib plates I’ve ever experienced! Highly recommend everything we tried in a fun welcoming atmosphere that guarantees we will return for more!!!!

Wow! This is the best BBQ I have ever had in Arizona!!! They had catered a party I went to, and I can't wait to try more. I recommend the Brisket Sandwich, macaroni, and cornbread. Yummy!

We are native Texans who now live in Akumal Mexico( where BBQ is not a thing) visiting family in area and were excited to find a family owned BBQ place for dinner.

The brisket and turkey were both super tender and juicy. The jalapeño slaw was light, crisp with the slightest zip from the fresh chopped jalapeños. The Mac n cheese was creamy with the perfect hint of garlic. Oh...and the cornbread muffins are a dee-lish side to round out a meal.

We topped dinner with the $5 Margaritas since it was the drink special for Mondays.

Service was fantastic, and the owners stopped by to check us a few times. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again .

Phenomenal ribs! So good I checked to see if I could eat the bones....twice. The mac and cheese is actually flavorful and delicious unlike many others I've tried. The folks here were nice, made the service feel personalized and when I wasn't crazy about the loaded potato salad they gladly offered to swap it for the mac and cheese. The corn bread was also good. If you want a good rack of ribs this is an excellent spot and I know I'll be back here whenever I get the chance.

To the owners and staff, keep up the great stuff because I'll certainly be telling folks about your place. Take care and thanks for the great food and service.

Delicious! Awesome atmosphere and staff

We had Batchelor’s Pad cater a small gathering at our house for 13 people. The food was fabulous, the portions were super generous and the customer service was top notch. I highly recommend and will definitely be ordering from them again!

Went on an evening when a special event was being hosted. They were gracious enough to let us order take out. Bartender was personable and welcoming despite getting ready for a large event. Brisket and pulled pork was good. I would like to eat-in so I can choose the BBQ sauce I get. Wasn't a fan of the sauce automatically given with take out.
