As we were being seated, the man seating us, whom we found out later was the manager, advised us that he was sorryThe walk was so long, but his server hadn't bussed Her tables yet. I immediately took offense to the fact that he was demeaning his server in front of a customer. I also noticed that it appeared that she was the only server on duty at the time and her section was full. Therefore, as a manager knowing she's the only person on at that time and knowing that she was quite overwhelmed. He should have been stepping in and helping her clear tables. And been cleaning them instead of demeaning her for not getting it done. He obviously is not a team player. Was that comment made to lower the customer's expectation of service and screw it? The waitress's tip? Are waitress Wendy, was actually a very good waitress.She kept a smile on her face.The entire time, she got her drink order out right away, i made sure our drinks were full, despite being as busy as she was. When we went to checkout, the manager was Nowhere to be found, and wendy was actually the person that checked us out. I asked her if that bald chubby guy was the manager, and she said, yes. I stated that he wasn't very nice to her and she said he likes picking on her. I told her he was the epitome of a horrible manager. And that she deserved to be treated much better than she had been.
If corporate is reading this, the manager that was on duty August 10th, around 11 AM. Needs additional training. He was completely unprofessional in making a comment about his waitress. He has absolutely no idea how to speak to his wait staff or how to be a team player and help the wait staff that he had overwhelmed. He is also creating a hostile environment for that poor waitress.

My husband and I struggled to make the decision to come here because our dennys experiences in the past few years have been horrible, but when I say we are so glad we pulled the trigger and came here, SO GLAD. Liz, our server… was fantastic! She was welcoming and kind, such a sweetheart! Food was also great, I got the Cali club and husband got the slam burger both with seasoned fries, literally no complaints at all! Food was hot and perfect. Liz said that Carlos was the cook for the day, so thanks Carlos! I wish every Dennys was like this, reminds me of the good ol days. Don’t second guess coming here if you’re around the area.

Bre was an amazing server! Very attentive and good at managing all her tables! We had a great breakfast and the chef even came out to table touch ! This just doesn’t normally happen at Dennys and I’m throughly impressed ! Everyone seems like they take pride in their job at this dennys ! P

The waitress jus looked at us and didn’t even want to serve us it made my mom sad because she was looking forward to eating at Dennys . It was only 2 of us not even a huge crowd I don’t get how hard it is to seat us. She was jus talking to her co workers ignoring us like we weren’t there. Worst experience at my local Dennys. I come here often and never had a problem like this . This happened at 6-26-25 around 10:30pm

We tried to give them a 3rd chance. This is 1/2 way to meet to exchange Grandkids. Each time the food arrived cold and waitress only came around 1 time to check on us. The only silver lining is this time the manager came by to ask how things were..I told him..he did give us a discount. I also told him that our waitress was busy visiting with her sister.?And a baby..hence why the food was cold. So disappointed.
