DJ's Bagel Café

I've eaten here several times and always had a great experience up until today that is. Ordered a corned beef sandwich on rye and an onion bagel. Was charged for the bagel but it wasn't in my bag and the sandwich had very LITTLE corned beef on it. So disappointed.....

Anytime I am in Fountain Hills at lunch time I stopped in.

Stopped in for six bagels and two containers of cream cheese got home and o my had FIVE bagels. How hard is it to put SIX bagels in the bag? I called and they offered zero apologies and told me to give them my name so I can get an extra bagel next time. I told them there will not be a next time pice was just shy of $16.

This place is really good from what I’ve tried, I just wish u could order online and pick up because when the snow birds come back for 6 months to visit our home, it is packed full and takes to long to swing by on a lunch break.

Parking: There’s only a few parking spots up front so most people block half the road and park on the side beside a red curb instead of parking in the huge parking lot behind the store.

Here to tell you guys, this place deserves a visit. Come hungry and leave happy. The kids love DJ's. Perfect stop before heading out to Payson.

Fruit salad is always fresh, bagels are a must. Put on a lot of cream cheese. Sandwiches are over filled with meat! A true fountain hills staple

Salads in wraps, breakfast, lunch and the portions are enough for 2!

Step into a vortex of poor service & nasty attitude from a staff straight off of some unfriendly third rock from the sun… the person @ register ignored the line for 5 minutes playing with her phone, the order taker couldn’t form sentences in response to questions & the hag that took my order actually snarled several times… I wanted to walk out but I ordered & ate my bagel - which was just okay - in retrospect I wouldn’t be surprised if she spit on my food… I counted 6 people “working” none of them customer friendly

That was maybe the worst Bagel experience of my life. I went in around Noon on a Sunday and they were somewhat busy, ended up ordering a toasted Everything Bagel but they were sold out so switched it up to a toasted Blueberry Bagel. First things first they didn’t even toast the Bagel, it was room temp if not cold and maybe the most hard to bite through Bagels I’ve ever bit into, I’ve had softer more chewy Bagels from my local grocer for 50 cents…. The only reason I finished half of it was because the Strawberry Spread was nice. Also the service was quite pretty meh at best, it’s like the girl who helped me didn’t wanna be there whatsoever, no smiles no enthusiasm just grimace. $6 for a Bagel with Cream Cheese you’d expect it to be good but definetly not.

Holy bagels, Batman! Yes this is a nice bagel shop with a pretty amazing list of bagel sandwiches of every bat topping you can imagine. No Joker ! And while it has a comfortable patio and is also very dog friendly (they offered us a dog water dish and a doggy whip cream snack, chilled by Mr Freeze I presume ?) I have only one problem I'd like to point out. No vegan milks or bagel spreads... Holy vegan cow , Batman!!!. No soy milk ?!?! It's an enigma worthy of the riddler.
