Visiting Fountain Hills and had a hankering for Chinese food. Locally owned and operated. Food served very hot. Lunch portions even gave way to a to go container. Sweet and sour chicken. Crispy, moist and sauce was really good. Came with spring roll, egg drop soup, rice and crab wonton. Service was quick. Atmosphere could be updated at least a little bit and more appropriate music. I will return next time I'm in town.

Ping’s has the best Chinese food in the Phoenix area and the most warm welcomes. We eat there frequently and have never been disappointed with any item. We especially love Ping’s sizzling rice soup, sesame chicken, pot stickers and garlic shrimp & scallops. Their food is so fresh and every dish tastes unique. An evening at Ping’s is truly a treat for all the senses.

The orange chicken and sweet and sour entrees were both delicious (extra crispy too!) If we had only been given the stuff served on the side (fried rice, spring roll, wonton, and egg drop soup), we still would have been so pleased it was so good. I typically am a heavy soy sauce user, but didn’t even touch it this time because the flavors of the rice were so deliciously amazing. The staff was nice and the soft background piano music soothing. Wish this was in our home town instead of just passing through so we could enjoy it repeatedly.

Nestled in the heart of the Fountain Hills, Ping's Cafe is a beacon of warmth and hospitality. From the moment you step through the door, you're enveloped in a cozy ambiance that feels like a home away from home. I was greeted with so much joy from the owner, Ping, it was as if I was a son coming home from college after 4 long years. The staff here are more than just servers; they're like family, greeting you with genuine smiles and attentive service. But it's not just the welcoming atmosphere that sets Ping's Cafe apart; it's the incredible Chinese cuisine that keeps patrons coming back time and time again. Growing up with the best Chinese food in the Chinatowns of California & Hawaii, I have high standards to say the least. I expect the dishes to be cooked by grandma in the kitchen with family recipes past down from generation to generation. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with care and bursting with authentic flavors. From the delicate dumplings that was created by Ping's 92 year old father to the savory stir-fries, every bite is a delight for the senses. For appetizers, we ordered the crab puff, egg rolls & BBQ pork. For the main entrees, we ordered the Hong Kong style chow mein with chicken, pork, shrimp; shrimp coconut curry; beef with green beans; and egg foo young. What truly elevates the dining experience at Ping's Cafe is the impeccable service. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels valued and well taken care of. Whether it's offering recommendations, accommodating dietary restrictions, or simply checking in to see if everything is to your liking, their attention to detail is unmatched. My toddler and infant were getting fussy, and Ping even offered to hold my toddler so I can eat in a moment of peace- only something a mother would offer. So if you're in the mood for a memorable dining experience that combines warmth, service, and fantastic Chinese cuisine, look no further than Ping's Cafe. It's not just a place to eat; it's a place to feel welcomed and appreciated by both locals, visitors, and snow birds. Come hungry. Leave happy.

Really delicious food! We went in for lunch while we had our car washed next door. Nice serene ambiance. I ordered Hunan beef and my wife ordered lo mein with chicken from the lunch menu. We both loved it, and the soup served before the main dish was also really tasty. Reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Best Chinese food in the Phoenix area. Great vegetarian and vegan options. A lot of dishes can also substitute tofu for meat. Never upsets my digestion. If you like shrimp they don't skimp out on size or quality. Delicious!

The restaurant smells like old cooking oil. The hot and sour soup tasted like vinegar. The entrees were bland. Big portions.
