Go to the subway on shea, seriously. This place is so awful. The employees look like they might shoot you if you say the wrong thing. I've tried 3 different times hoping it was just a one off. The last 2 times, I went when it's COMPLETELY empty and the employees (MULTIPLE) look at me like I don't know where I am and then completely ignore me. It's actually insane. I couldn't say any positive things about this place since the last girl quit. Please wipe this subway off the map, fire everyone, and put something better in!

I would give zero stars if that was an option this is the worst subway I have ever encountered. If you want the food you ordered you better go in and watch them make it!! But if you go in it's even worse unclean, unsanitary employees and Noone washes there hands absolutely disgusting and don't try to get ahold of the owner they don't answer there phone.

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I stopped by tonight expecting a simple sandwich, but what I encountered was beyond unacceptable. One employee was visibly miserable—when I politely asked how his night was, his only response was, “I just want to get out of here.” That alone set the tone for the experience. The other employee? Wearing slippers, going in and out of the restroom without washing her hands, and then heading straight into the back. On top of that, she had friends hanging around, going in and out of the restroom together—doing who knows what kind of ungodly activities.

This was hands-down the most unprofessional and unsanitary Subway I have ever visited. For the sake of cleanliness and basic food safety, I will no longer be coming to this location and strongly suggest others don’t either—for their own health and safety.

Irrational Triangle

Place is always dirty. They stop making bread around 6:00 p.m. so if you want to get food after 6:00 might as well give up. And the service is always lousy and it smells like s*** in there

Dirty place with bad customer service, employees, specifically Danny, cannot follow basic directions and was cross-contaminated everything. Josh was nice though, but the other location is way better and this location should not be supported in its current state.

This location has gone completely downhill this year. No friendly customer service, Minimal toppings, Bread is dry and hard, never have any tea made. Try to call and get help. No answer, “this person has not set up voicemail please try your call again later”. No one cares in the store to help.

Tried multiple times to get a sandwich on the app and would not expect my payment method. I hate hate hate it makes things less convenient and I was not able to get my other footlong while using a deal. I cannot take it

Horrible! The bread was extremely hard and so was the pretzel, not to mention that they gave me almost no cheese to dip the pretzel in. I threw it all away. Do not recommend! Mind you… this location is under three miles from our home.

New to fountain hills and tried this subway for the first time today 10/20/24 around 4:30 pm. I ordered two sandwiches and one was incorrect, however the male employee working corrected the mistake right away (he accidentally put cheese on it) and had a great attitude about it. I was a little irritated at first but his attitude was great and that’s why I’m rating 5 stars. Definitely will be a regular at this subway! I wish I got his name.

Service is the problem. I attempt to order online and the system can’t seem to complete it before it’s 8:30 and it’s time for them to start closing up.
Whoever owns this store should work must improve their service.

Haven't been to a Subway for at least 5 yrs. Was busy and in the shopping center so gave it a try.
Sandwich was good, but the store was absolutely FILTHY! 1:00PM on a Saturday and not busy at all. All tables were filthy, floor was covered with lettuce and crumbs everywhere.

Clearly the three employees aren't told to keep the store clean, and apparently this store attracts scuzzy customers who treat Fountain Hills like the west side of Phoenix. I won't be back.
