My wife and I stayed here one night recently as a launching point for seeing the North Rim. It seems that the property has evolved over time with cabins, a motel and now a hotel component - we stayed in the hotel. The accommodations were suitable and clean, but pretty basic and rustic in nature (no fridge or mwaves). The front desk and other staff were very friendly, helpful and outgoing. There were areas outside the room to sit and enjoy the scenery but ours had brush overgrown...

First, I found the whole facility to be delightful. The entry room was a combonation of motel desk, lobby lounge (GREAT fireplace!), cookies display and point of sale, convenience store,
gift shop, lunch counter, and restaurant.
There were also small museum-like displays in the ebtry area. All very interesting. (It is worth noting that the inn has been operated by the same family OVER 100 YEARS!)
