Ordered curbside services and waited 20 min for cold fries

We have been going to Texas Roadhouse next store for years. But for a long while we had to send it back, almost every visit. Usually raw and bland. So finally we had enough, and tried Applebee's.
We tried the back menu 2 meal specials. I was surprised. Been going only here now for the last few months. For over 1/3 less price.
1. Sirloin flavor and texture way better. 2. The side salad twice as big. 3. 2 sides not one. They all taste better as well. 4. Bonus. Their salmon has always been awesome. Better than Pita Jungle at the movie theater. And cheaper too.
Only thing Texas roadhouse had that I miss was the prime rib and rolls. But my wallet seems very happy now. I always leave this Applebee's feeling satisfied. Look on the back of the menu.

I'm from out of town, I always get the same thing visiting Applebees. Fiesta lime chicken, and a side of mashed potatoes. On the menu it's 2/$25, where Im from. We didn't look at the menu, and it's my fault for not looking. Apparently this Applebees charges $3 more per plate for the 2/$25. Waitress didn't care I was a little taken back by the $6 charge on a 2/$25 menu. The salads didn't have cucumbers, she came back and said we're out of cucumbers. So one of the salads just had salad and cheese. She just placed them right in front of us. Didn't offer another item that we could have chose from the menu. Salad was old tasting. After a few bites I was done. Chicken was hard, thin, and dry. Waitress only came back to see if we wanted boxes. Clearly we did not. Needless, to say I won't be back while I'm in town.

We've been to Applebee's before but it always seems to in the back of the mind when it comes to getting picked. Tonight just so happened to be a hey let's try it again kinda night. The host was not friendly at all, to say the least, almost made us turn around and leave to be honest. We got seated and then we met Phoebe. She was great, we didn't have to ask her for much and when we did she was on it. Food was ok, probably what keeps us from coming more often. For example we got the four cheese macaroni with honey pepper chicken tenders and the tenders were tiny. We sent the tenders back and then got some that were acceptable. Other than the host and the pigeon fingers, not bad overall, but Applebee's will still stay an afterthought in our minds.

First, of all i have kids with us and they took an 1 hour to say anything about our food. Then when they did it was this, take out orders are priority over people who dine in at this restaurant. Would have never have came here if that was expressed. My children were starving, its one thing if its just adults. Then on top of all that the manage didnt even have the backbone to come out to us and at least apologize and or anything his/ her poor staff had to. They definitely need a change in management. That is not how a manager is suppose to handle the situation. It was an hour and seventeen mins before we got our food to go of all things. This establishment is in need of a told management revamp. The staff did everything they could the manager failed.

Takes them over 10 minutes to make my salad to go order, im sitting in the pick up area and theyre just chatting up a storm, this place looks fancy but its a joke the staff are too unprofessional
