I really liked the open concept design. There are TVs everywhere. Great music playing. Tons of seating and spacing throughout the whole place. They even have a good amount of arcade games scattered around too!
It was packed for football but we found seating at the bar. Decent drink menu overall - kind of expected a wider range of draft beers compared to other places around. Food wise, it was pretty solid. Ordered the 'Merica Burger with fries. No complaints! Definitely on the pricey side though.
This is a great time out and break from your typical restaurant dining experience. Definitely recommend coming to watch sports here!

Me and my group of friends came to watch some games, eat dinner, have a few drinks. We were watching the last game, it was 9:30pm and we were already getting kicked out even though online it says the place closes at 10pm. One of my friends asked the reason on why we were getting kicked out so early. The manager mike response was “it’s been slow and we want the kitchen crew out of here.” That makes literally no sense at all. Don’t advertise that the restaurant closes at 10 if that is not the case. It is absolutely not fair to just close the restaurant early because you want to leave sooner. Mind you there was still another group of people by us watching the game. That is really unacceptable, lazy, and honestly changed my perception of the place. For a restaurant to advertise as a spot to watch games, that’s pretty embarrassing. Thank you for ruining my nice chill evening with my friends.

Watching Sports games on a Sunday night. Specifically checked to see if games were aired and closing times.
Manager Mike decided to take it upon himself to close the establishment early at 9.30pm instead of the advertised 10pm. Stating that “it was a dead night and he still had a bunch of tasks to do”
Kind of seams crazy to me to close early due to a lack of custom and then kick out customers you had. Not a reliable place to watch sports games. Especially as the food was very mediocre.

We were there watching the games for a while eating and drinking but before the final game finished we were told to leave at 9:30pm even though they close at 10pm. There's no reason for that to happen and makes this an unreliable spot to dine at.

Food was very good. It was very busy for a Wednesday night, so service was a little slow. They even ran out of silverware! The atmosphere is great, however, next time I need to be outside on the patio, it is way too loud.

Super disappointed I have tried and tried to make this my spot but every single time I just leave disappointed. I have been here about 20 times in the past year and just keep getting more disappointed each time. I was served rock hard pita with my spinach artichoke and asked if I can get some fresh pita it took about 45 minutes after asking two bartenders if I can get fresh pita and they still charged me as if I was asking for extra pita. I let them know that the pita they had originally served me was rock solid and I feel like I'm about to chip a tooth yet they could care less and still took their time serving me fresh pita as if I was inconveniencing them. I have given up on this place. Never again and I will be letting all of my friends in the area know that that place is garbage.

went to backyard first time tonight. The food was ok, had the nacho's, not a fan, hardly any cheese and was very bare, but our server, I believe her name was Laci was Great! She was very friendly and accommodating and made sure she had our food and drinks in a timely fashion. It's hard to find good service. Laci was Amazing.

Over good. Food was good bar food, better than expected. Great place to watch football!! I have two words this goes for every restaurant “Reverse Osmosis”. All restaurants should have it!!! You cook with it and people judge the restaurant based on the water as well.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The layout and décor feel cozy but thoughtfully designed. The food was outstanding. Flavors were bold, fresh, and beautifully presented. Service was top notch. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. Loved the drink menu too. Creative and refreshing.
If you’re looking for a place with character, great food, and a relaxed vibe, Backyard Gilbert is a must visit.

Slow service, small portions. The server made a mistake with the food and was wanting to charge us. She rarely checked on us and brought refills when we were finished with our food. She had also forgotten to bring out one of our food items and brought it out when we were finished with our meal. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I won’t be coming back.
