Amazing food but unfortunately they’re getting one star for charging $3.99 for chips. Chips are supposed to be free at a Mexican restaurant brother

Best authentic Mexican food around! Everything on the menu is so delicious - my favs are the birria tacos, horchata and the papa locas! Their bueno bowls are amazing for when you want to eat cleaner but still get that Mexican feel!

This is the best Backyard Taco location I’ve been to. The food is consistent, well-prepared, and tastes exactly how you expect traditional Mexican food to taste. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and reliable.
Service: 4.4/5
Service is solid and efficient. Orders are handled correctly, and staff keep things moving even during busy times.
Cleanliness: 4.5/5
The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Dining areas, counters, and prep spaces are kept in good condition.
Atmosphere: 4.3/5
The atmosphere aligns well with Backyard Taco’s corporate standards. It’s casual, functional, and comfortable without trying to be anything it’s not.
Value for Money: 4.5/5
Portion sizes and quality match the price point well. You get dependable food at a fair value, which makes it easy to return.

This place is alright. I guess I don't get the fuss. The chicken I got was so dry I coughed. The potatoes were burned and for the price I didn't get much. I hope I just caught it on a bad day but for all the fuss I was told about this place it wasn't all I thought it would be.

I went there a couple of weeks ago, it was my first time there so i did not know much about the menu or food, i asked the cashier “Rachel” for recommendations and she was really great! She gave me a lot of recommendations depending if i was very very hungry or not so much. She was very attentive! I ordered two birria tacos on corn tortilla and a flan also (recommended by Rachel) it was all very good! I will be coming back here

Generally the food was fine. We got all 4 taco fillings. The pastor was the best. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was not good at all. The chicken tasted like chemicals, it was sitting in a pool of liquid that I assume was from the chicken and it had cabbage in it. The cheese was in a cold glob on one side. The rice and beans were good. A tiny side of sour cream was $1, it was a tablespoon at most. I don't see any reason to return considering there are other options around.

We ordered take out for dinner: Crazy potato and carne asada burrito. The steak was horrible. The steak was chewy/rubbery in both items. The pieces wouldn't even break down no matter how much I chewed them. I could not enjoy dinner and may not return. I usually get the al pastor and my husband usually gets the steak; he even said it was bad. I only gave 3 stars because he said the restaurant was clean and the service was good. Food is to expensive to not enjoy. What a waste of $24.
