Backyard Tacos always satisfies my taco cravings, especially the Al Pastor ones with their tasty toppings and spicy jalapeño sauce. The food is fresh, comes out fast, and the place is clean with plenty of seating, making it an easy favorite for me and my family.
The service from the cashier was horrible.
She was paying more attention to her staff as we were telling her what we wanted and she ignored us and started talking to her coworkers. Not sure her name, however she had pig tail braids. She needs some coaching on customer service.

Since franchising food tastes different and smaller qty, with higher prices. Seems that’s the pattern with places that expand. They do use msg in some items like the rice. Carne asada was not the same, chewy and not as flavorful in Sept 2025. Sadly we stopped going😢. Getting the correct salsas was a crapshoot, plus we all thought they were more watery. Originally you had 5 stars from us.
