I was in town for the night visiting my folks and I picked up wings, salad , and pizza for the family. The salad was exceptionally fresh and delicious.

Pizza was slightly undercooked for my tastes but I prefer crispy well-done crust. Love the robust sauce at this place, lots of toppings and the perfect amount of cheese.

The habanero sauce for the wings was too sugary it overpowered the heat of the habanero flavor. It should be more subtle and sweet with a steady burn.

Service was exceptionally courteous and professional. I got my order and out of there in less than 5 minutes even though they seemed quite busy.
Thanks again,

This is a huge thank you to Siobhan at the Higley Barros pizza for helping me with an online order that I messed up! She was fast, efficient, and so sweet! Thank you, Siobhan! You rock!

Amazing pizza, salad, and wings. I used to go there every day after playing tennis with grandpa and order medium boneless wings. Every time I would leave satisfied, and excited to come back the next day.

We’ve been loyal customers of this Barro’s for over six years, but unfortunately, this visit left us very disappointed. After a long, busy day, we came in for a late dinner, arriving just after 10 pm and hoping for an easy win and meal with our older kids. Since the restaurant is listed as open until 11 pm, we thought we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. However, the atmosphere and service made us feel unwelcome from the start.

The cashier, Audrey H., seemed visually frustrated with us, even asking my husband if we wouldn't sit at a table with chairs, he responded with letting her know there are five of us, half of which already sat down. After a slight pause, she gave a rude nod of "approval," despite our group of five needing the space to sit comfortably and fit all together. While we were understanding of their evening workload, her manner came across as dismissive. We paid the bill by card, and she threw the pen for my husband to use to sign the receipt at him, catching him off guard. She threw the pen from behind her register at him, hitting his arm. He picked it up, then signed, grabbed our drink cups, and took our table number. My daughter, shortly after, asked for a straw, and the young man responded curtly, adding to the overall tension.

As we waited, she began putting up chairs on the tables around us, which made us feel rushed despite having arrived well before closing time. I then quietly approached and asked her if she would like us to leave as we felt extremely unwelcome. She replied with, "Oooh. You're no problem! It's fine! It's fine!" I knew by her behavior and tone that it wasn't fine, but we had plenty of time before closing to eat, and we already paid. When Audrey brought out our food, she hesitated before fully walking away, turning back and asking, "Do you need plates and napkins, or are you good??" which felt odd given the type of meal we ordered. There are no napkins, straws, or plates available for customers to grab, so we had no choice but to request them after she sarcastically asked us. They normally give you plates, silverware, and napkins without asking. If she thought we didn't need them, that implies she thought the five of us would have eaten off the tabletop. None of the food was packaged to go, as we dined in. The overall lack of warmth from the staff was off-putting.

We spent nearly $70 on one fountain drink, an XL cheese pizza, and wings— prices have increased so much, we are overpaying as it is and then we aren't provided with plates, silverware or napkins...basic items such as straws and napkins should be left out for customers to use as needed, and if they are going to be kept and held in the back, it shouldn't be a big deal to for customers to request them. Other tables left their space a full spread out mess. I'm not sure that there are trash cans available for customers, we looked so we could help clean our own mess. We stacked everything appropriately, putting all the paper trash together, then plates together, etc. We didn't want to leave an extra mess for anyone. We always do this, as it's the right thing to do and I worked in the restaurant business as a teenager.
The food itself was fine, but the service overshadowed the experience. We understand staff may have had a long day, but customers deserve to feel welcomed until the posted closing time. She accepted our order and money. This visit left us questioning whether we’ll return, which is disappointing given how much we’ve enjoyed this location in the past.

Popular place but not my favorite! I’m a “crispy thin” crust w/ creating my own pizza options. They don’t really have a lot of options & that’s fine you can’t be 31 flavors anymore & turn a profit. I don’t like sauce on my pizza -I’m olive oil on crust. The Pizza was OK (I know ppl love it) it just wasn’t for me. It tasted like a non frozen digiorono pizza. To make this review fair… I was the ONLY ONE in my party to have this opinion….we did take out & I was the one that did the pick up so I saw the place. The pick up/order area was crowded & confusing & so many people were hanging around up at the bar better managing of that would be nice

Not my favorite pizza spot but gets the job done.

As an Arizona native I've been going to Barros since the early 90s, and this spot is by far the cleanest one I've been to since the one at Rural and Warner.
Pizza was on point with the thick, fluffy crust I remember.
Bonus because I didn't have to bus my own table before I sat down like I've had to at my old spot.
This restaurant is doing well, and the manager should be recognized for keeping this place, service, and the food as close to the original as possible. "High Five"

I’ve been eating Barro’s pizza for years and years. I work at St. Joseph’s hospital and medical center in the Barrow Neurological Institute surgery department and they order pizza from Barro’s A LOT. Their pizza always exceeds expectations.

We had lunch here the other day and ordered a mega meat pizza, antipasto salad and boneless wings. The portion sizes were generous, and the food tasted great. I appreciated that the service was fast. We didn't get the lunch specials, but those look like a great deal, and many people dining in seemed to be ordering the specials. We will be back with the kids because the kids menu prices at $4.99 and $5.99 are a pretty good deal as well!
