Big Chicken got a serious upgrade - I hadn’t been in a year or longer and the wife and I love this place!
The owner clearly put in major work —The menu got a fantastic refresh: new killer sauces, upgraded sides, and everything we tried was hot, fresh, and perfectly done.
Staff was awesome and very helpful explaining the new menu.
Big Chicken is officially back in our regular rotation. Highly recommend — go try it! 🐔

This isnt just another chicken place. This place offers many different varieties, all of which taste amazing. Location is great, had a nice outdoor sitting area and treats for your dog! Staff is super friendly. I will definitely come back

The manager here is awesome. I have a dairy allergy and usually it's very difficult for me to figure out if theres anything safe for me to eat at restaurants but the manager here was so patient and helpful and went through the whole menu with me to find something I could have. The food was very tasty and the fries and extra good. Definitely gonna come back, I hear they're good with gluten allergies too.

My daughter and I have only one meal a week that we can have fast food and we always use that night at Shaq’s Big Chicken. Absolutely best chicken place in town! Great location being in Down Town Gilbert as well. The staff treats us like a friend and calls us by our names. Very great management going on there as you’ll notice right away. 👍

We’ve been here a few times and every visit has been consistently great! Our most recent visit was on a random weekday and come to find out kids eat free on Wednesday! The manager (Alondra, I believe) was very nice and patient while we decided what to order. While ordering she even kept our youngest son entertained 😅 The food was delicious. The manager and another gentleman checked on all of the customers. Both managers informed us about the Shaq’s Big Chicken Reading Card as well. Thank you! We’ll be back again soon.
We've been past Big Chicken a few times, on our way to a different restaurant next door, so this was our first time actually trying them. Service was impeccable! The manager gave us suggestions about the menu and was very attentive. My partner ordered the chicken sandwich with mac-n-cheese and onion rings in it, and a side of fries. He said the chicken was cooked well but didn't have any flavor. He couldn't even taste the barbeque sauce. The fries were great, cooked fresh, with just a little crunch. I'm vegetarian, so I ordered the elote and coleslaw. Both were good, not spectacular, but good enough. In the end, my partner and I had the same thought, that Big Chicken would be a better fast food/drive through place than a sit down restaurant.

Staff was really nice, recommended options, and came to check on us. Food was great - expected to be super greasy as fried food usually is but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. Really liked the fries - perfectly crispy but not greasy and had a great flavor. Texas toast was garlicky, which was a great addition. Would definitely go again
