The food, ambience, and service were all good; the service being the bright spot of the evening. We sat at a wonderfully placed and comfortable table in the bar area, so the bartender was tasked with serving us. I can never remember his name, but he's been there for years and is an absolute joy, always smiling and knows the menu like the back of his hand. It was very comforting to see a familiar face when we arrived. However, after noticing how high the menu prices had gotten, I was completely unprepared for the miniscule amount of food that came with my order. If I had been by myself I would have sent it back and not ordered anything else. Higher prices AND smaller portions were an offensive double-whammy that we weren't expecting. Brio used to be a go-to for an elevated food experience, superb service and a wonderful "Italian date night" feel, with never a concern about overpriced food or drinks. Those days are gone, clearly. I've made a lot of great memories at this restaurant over the past decade (at least), but at these prices, I sadly don't think we'll be back.
An impromptu dinner with a friend, didn't turn out as planned. When we got to the restaurant, it wasn't busy at all! We have been there numerous times before, and the place was always bustling. The server was tentative, and it seemed like it would be a casual dinner. We ordered a starter and soup, and before the starters arrived, the server asked if we knew what we wanted for a main course. We gave him our order, but before we were finished with our starters, the main courses arrived! I commented to the server that I feel rushed, and he said he would take the meals back and wait until we were finished with our starters. When he asked for our main course order, I specifically asked not to give the order to the kitchen yet, so we had time to eat what was already on the table. Unfortunately, the main courses showed up anyway. The dinner got worse... I had ordered the lamb chops , and I cut into one and it was rare ( I asked for medium rare) but when I cut into the next lamb chop it was RAW! The server showed up just as I was seeing this, and I told him I can't eat it. He said he understood and would send it back to the kitchen. I told him not to bother, because I've always been uncomfortable returning food to the kitchen. Shortly thereafter, the manager came to our table and told me he was very sorry, and comped my meal. He was very professional, and also comped a dessert. I can understand rushing food if a restaurant is busy, but they weren't even 30 procent full. This was very unfortunate
The experience at Brio @ the San Tan Mall was horrible. We waited for 1 hour for our food as we watched serveral other tables who came in well after us order and receive their foods before us. The server was apologetic and we were comp'ed desert but for the price of the food and the horrible service, we will not go back. I feel bad for Brio, it used to be a very nice environment with moderately priced food. It seems that their time has come and gone....
I don't dine here often but the meal and service were fantastic. I had the lemon chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli and it was cooked to perfection and the presentation was on-point. Jaedon was my waiter and his recommendations were all great, including wine selection. Great value - I'll be back!
The food was amazing! Ivan the manager and chief was amazing! We also had a wonderful server name Laura. She was very attentive, sweet and was an amazingserver! Thank you for a wonderful dinner Brio!
It wasn't bad, I feel like the food could've been a bit better. Although it might just be an acquired taste.
The food went cold fast. Waitress spilled water and did not offer refills, grated Parmesan, or menu suggestions. Food was price didn't match quality. Especially that entrees averaged to $27 each with no complimentary side or salad. Waitress was nice but gave attention to wrong things. Basically, you're paying for the feeling and look of the restaurant, not the service, food, or customer satisfaction.
Such a great experience at Brio! Service was excellent and our food was great. The shrimp & eggplant appetizer was particularly delicious.
Idk, I been here years ago, didn't love it.. came again for a Christmas party dinner, still didn't love it. Just very basic to me. 4 ppl, one had pizza, 2 had lasagna and i honestly can't even remember what I ordered.. oh yeah sausage rigatoni, which obviously nothing amazing. I did like the caramel dessert!

Always a great experience! We loved our server. Sorry can't remember his name and the food was great. Cant wait to go back.
Nice place. My first time there. Food was good but nothing we ordered stood out. We will try it again
I've been here a handful of times over the last 10 years. And this last experience made me realize that this location should close. It no longer fits San Tan Village. The inside is outdated. Service is ok. Food was awful. It's time to let it go and close unfortunately.
It was an amazing last min dinner for Christmas . Our food was amazing and the staff was great.
I understand that it was Christmas Day, but to have a 5:30 PM reservations and our food arrived at out table 8:00 PM was a bit much. We received water and one order of bread. The waiter came by and asked if we want more bread and it never came. When our order arrived there were 4 missing items that we had to wait for even longer. Overall is was not a good experience and we will not be returning.
