This hotel is in a great location in the SE valley and convenient to Phoenix Gateway airport. The decor is very unusual for a Doubletree and we thought had all the charm of a Days Inn, however the room size was good and the staff was very friendly. We chose this hotel because the pool looked so nice and large in the website photos. It is large, but it was not very clean nor was it heated (in April) so we couldn’t even use it. The outdoor bar was closed so that wasn’t fun at...
Had two lengthy stays at this hotel in January and February. Had a spacious room on the top floor (4th) and encountered a very eager and willing staff. From the Front Desk, to Housekeeping, to Servers, to Maintenance. Very helpful and hospitable. Will stay again when back in the area.

It was all very flavorful. I ordered the salmon, which comes with garlic mashed potatoes (so good) and grilled vegetables. My husband got the turkey bacon club with sweet potato fries.
Everyone was very friendly. I would come back here just to eat, even if it is in a hotel lobby.
