Tonight I took my wife to Brooklyn V’s at Jermaine and Gilbert in Gilbert for her birthday. My wife ordered spaghetti and a house salad. I ordered meatball calzones with a house salad.. I however, was very disappointed in the calzone. There was no meatball in the calzone. There were strips of some kind of meat in the calzone that tasted nothing like meatballs.. I asked the waitress what kind of meat it was. She said she didn’t know but would check. She came back and told me it was beef and pork. I didn’t order pork I don’t like pork. When the menu says meatballs, it should be meatballs, not pork and some kind of weird tasting beef. If I had ordered spaghetti and meatballs, would it have been strips of this kind of meat across the spaghetti something to think about?

We love Brooklyn V’s, we go to the one on Ellsworth often. Tonight we went to the San Tan Location. 40 minutes we waited for our food and it was still was not done. We had to ask for it to go. Got into the car to where we were going, only to realize there was no cheese on our pizza!!!! We paid money for a fresh mozzarella cheese pizza for there to be no cheese!!! So disappointed in this location. Our server with the glasses was also very unfriendly.

new location in north Mesa was not good. one dinner was lasagna and was cold in the middle like it had been frozen. if I wanted frozen lasagna, I would have done so at home for 1/3 the price!

From NY and hard to find authentic Italian food in the valley. I was highly impressed with the flavor and the people. This is family owned and amazing tasting food. Everything that I have tried so far is bursting with so many spices and sauces that I keep coming back. Be sure to get a slice of cheesecake too. The canoli cheesecake is beyond delicious.

Was at the grand opening yesterday at Higley, so wanted to update this again. Great location, employees were all fantastic and Vito and family were there to meet and speak to you. Food as usual was off the charts! Best of luck to you Vito! I'll be splitting my visits between here and Warner, lol.
Wanted to update my review. Been coming to the Gilbert location since they opened years ago. Fantastic food, fantastic people - Sierra and Vinnie are the best! My go to Saturday lunch spot.
Great Brooklyn pizza and Italian food. Vinnie is awesome! End your meal with one of their delicious cheesecakes.

I'll start by saying that the food is pretty good. It really is. Not the absolute best in town (that award goes to Sal's Gilbert Pizza). But good food is only half the puzzle. I order delivery from here relatively frequently, and they somehow manage to screw up the order: every.single.time.
This is in zero way an exaggeration. Sometimes the wrong side dish is included. Sometimes somethings missing from the order. Sometime the wrong type of pizza is sent. Today, my salad was missing.
I want to like and keep going to this place, but truthfully it's more trouble than it's worth. I took a long break from them for a while for this reason, only to give them another try today. And apparently, nothing's changed. I won't be giving them my business anymore and suggest others follow suit.

More than just a pizza place!
I was recommended the spicy penne pasta covered with Brooklyn V’s homemade vodka cream sauce and hands down the best pasta I have had in the valley. Kids got the complimentary chicken bites with fries that came with the adult meal (special on Wednesdays), also good for a kids meal.
Their wings are also the best standard buffalo wings I have had in the Valley (remind me of Tickets from Fairborn, OH).
Wife got a California crust pizza which was delicious.
With the food being so good, we had to try two different types of the cheesecake. We got a slice of Oreo and a slice of strawberry shortcake…didn’t know the meal could get any better, but it did. Heaven in your mouth…we will be back for more.
This isn’t fine dinning…but the food is top notch and I like the “chill….come in and eat good food” vibe 😊
We go there all the time because the pizza is so good comparing it to Back home in Pennsylvania where we have a lot of Italian restaurants. The service is the best and the people are the friendliest it’s a little bit pricey but it’s worth it. We go there about twice a month. since we found this place we cannot compare any other pizza in Arizona as good as this pizza? I’m editing my review went there on the 17th Sunday picked up pizza I came home and the pizza was burnt I have called several times and cannot get hold of Vito they keep giving me the runaround that’s the last time they see me or my husband.

The pizza was ridiculously good. We also tried the mozzarella cheese sticks and the baked caprese, which were also amazing. Service was great and the food came out quickly. In the end, we also took a slice of the homemade cheesecake home. Best cheesecake we've ever had! Try this place out!!
