Tonight I took my wife to Brooklyn V’s at Jermaine and Gilbert in Gilbert for her birthday. My wife ordered spaghetti and a house salad. I ordered meatball calzones with a house salad.. I however, was very disappointed in the calzone. There was no meatball in the calzone. There were strips of some kind of meat in the calzone that tasted nothing like meatballs.. From NY and hard to find authentic Italian food in the valley. I was highly impressed with the flavor and the people. This is family owned and amazing tasting food. Everything that I have tried so far is bursting with so many spices and sauces that I keep coming back. Be sure to get a slice of cheesecake too. The canoli cheesecake is beyond delicious.
