We all know that when you’ve been to a place enough times, eventually there’s bound to be a letdown — and today, on my mother’s 86th birthday, it seemed like that moment had arrived. But I have to say, our server Savannah immediately turned things around with grace and professionalism. Then manager Matt followed up and completely reminded us why Buck & Rider has been one of our family favorites for so long.
Thank you, Savannah and Matt, for going above and beyond and for showing once again why we keep coming back and telling everyone about Buck & Rider. Well done! 👏

The service at the bar is very bad. The girls bartending are extremely inattentive due to their hangovers and partying from the night before. In comparison to the caliber and cost of Buck and Rider, this experience was unacceptable. My husband and I have been to this restaurant for multiple special occasions, but after this, I think we may need to reconsider.

Living in the desert and eating fresh seafood, food was amazing. The service was the best , will be back just because of the hospitality.
It was our 52nd wedding anniversary and we chose this restaurant because of the AZ restaurant week special. I wanted seafood and the menu had lots of options. I made reservations on the same day that we went there. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately in a cozy rounded booth. Everyone was extremely attentive wishing us a happy anniversary. Even had a card for us at the table signed by staff. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. She wanted to make our dinner memorable with very attentive service. All our food was very delicious and presented with care. They made me feel like royalty, not many people celebrate 52 years of marriage. They even had a large board with our name and best wishes on our anniversary. Our waitress even took many pictures of us under it. I had our waitress sign the card to us also. I’ll always remember the special moments there. Thanks to Chris the manager too for special service. I’ll be back!🥰

Not a bad spot for some fresh seafood. We had some good oysters. I did like that they had a few different options to choose from as well as their characteristics to make choosing easier. For appetizers we had calamari and pull-apart rolls to share and also ordered soft shelled crab rolls. Rolls were soft .. flavor was ok. Calamari was AWESOME and cooked perfectly. Softshelled crab rolls....they forgot and didnt give it to me until entrees were being served. Flavor wise... it seemed lacking... like something was missing. But this isnt a sushi place so maybe i should lower my expectations. As for my entree, i ordered crabcakes.... size was decent but they were way overcooked. In addition, although i can see the crabmeat... the taste was anything but. I could only taste and feel the crunchiness and all other flavors except the actual crab.. and for the price i paid for... it was definitely beyond disappointing. Ive had better frozen ones at a local grocery for much cheaper. If i go back... it would only be for the fresh oysters and other maybe uncooked seafood... and calamari.

Had a horrible experience tonight (9/24). We signed in, waited, no text/no call, they said they would find us anyway. After being missed once (30-40), we got re-added or whatever to the list, waited again, then forgotten. They said they'd seat us right away, we sat and watched 7 parties sat, waited 5-10 min and decided to cut out losses. Just abismal and not well run. No thanks

This place is really good. I went there for my birthday and my son's birthday and we had an amazing time. Oysters on the half shell were incredible, and so are the rest of the entrees. We're definitely going back.
