Had this for the first time at the end of June. Within 4 hours of having a slice of vegetarian pizza, I was shaking and had wicked stomach pain that eventually led to vomiting. Food poisoning that lasted for three days. A few days ago, a family member decided to have this place again, ignoring my previous sickness. They too ended up with food poisoning. Clearly, this place has a cleanliness problem. I know I won't be going back as for the others I know, that's on them. So gross.

We've been coming to Buddyz for a long time and it's by far my favorite chicago pizza in the area. PHX continues to bring in some of Chicago's most famous pizza places, but they don't taste like this. I was very surprised to find I like this pizza so much more, but it's the truth.Great owners and friendly staff, as well.

Waste of time and money. I honestly regret tipping this pizza restaurant 18%! I ordered by phone and the staff mentioned that it would take 45 minutes. I came in early, so I ordered a few beers. It was ridiculous to wait for at least 1 1/2 hour. I live near this area, but the pizza looks almost frozen AND why is it served like a kids meal?! The dough was awful and it tasted like cardboard! It's the worst!

Buddyz is simply awesome. My wife picked it up one night when she randomly wanted deep dish, and it immediately became our favorite pizza spot. Everything we’ve had from there has been incredible. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with Buddyz.

A bit pricy. But you get what you pay for. We have ordered several times.we are from the mid west and we could not find good fresh quality pizza in AZ. We like Buddyz. And we recommend Buddyz to our friends.

Pleasantly satisfied with my order tonight! I have lived in Val Vista for 8 years and never tried Buddyz til today and regret never coming by sooner! Ate the food so fast and had no time for pictures! The pizza was delicious , fried mozzarella was so different and tasty and the wings were quality ! I have had sals Brooklyn's , Venezia's, barros, Gus, Nicantonis , Casanova bro's and more. Tonight I was like wow I need pizza that doesn't look lifeless I'm tired of paying good money when the pizza taste like Pizza Hut. Food was great! Thank you for your service!
Everything was delicious! Deep dish tasted amazing, (loved that crust!)fried mozzarella was different (tasted homemade) and was sooooo good and the meatballs and marinara were also really great! The man who took my order on the phone was patient , very nice and the lady who greeted us was also really nice and friendly! Thank you buddy's for this awesome meal!!

I love Buddyz and have been supporting them for years. I recently ordered takeout and was very disturbed by what I saw. None of the employees I saw were wearing a mask. There also was a blonde woman with a little girl in a Porsche SUV who left and returned to the restaurant without masks (perhaps the owner??). Per Town of Gilbert, face coverings are required at indoor or outdoor places where you are unable to maintain 6 feet physical distancing from others not of your own household. I don't think I can continue to support this business that has no regard for their employee's or customer's health and safety I don't know if the cooks were wearing masks, but since no one else was, I would assume they were not either. Who know's if an asymptomatic COVID-19 carrier is cooking the food or bringing the food to your car.......

Ordered take out a week or two ago, and it was phenomenal. As a former Chicago resident, I take my deep dish very seriously. Buddyz is by far the best deep dish pizza I have ever had (yes better than the popular Lou Malnatis and Giordanos). The leftover pizza even tasted amazing once reheated.The melted butter for my pasta was also packaged individually and didn't spill when I slammed on the brakes because someone cut me off. I truly appreciated that. Highly highly recommend ordering from here (especially if you get bacon on top). I am hoping to get take out again soon. It is 100% worth the drive from Scottsdale.

Won't accept walk up orders, which is understandable during a pandemic. But won't take phone orders either. Only online orders accepted. Great. But where we were told to order online doesn't pull up anything. At all. So we took our 5 large pizza order elsewhere today and will do so in the future.
