I stopped by Buono’s Pizza to check them out tonight for the first time. I usually only go to Jet’s Pizza but after reading the reviews about Buono’s I thought I’d give them a try. A nice gal took my order at the counter and gave me some good recommendations. I decided to order a small Margherita pizza and it was very good and tasty. Very good crust and flavor. The only thing I wish is that it has a little more pizza sauce so next time I’ll request that again. Overall the place was nice and friendly and they have good quality pizza. I highly recommend checking them out.

Mama Bear
This place used to be around back in the late nineties in Mesa and then they disappeared. All of a sudden driving down Gilbert Road I found that they were back in business! This is real New York pizza! The biggest pizza you can get, you get to fold the slices! It's great delivered or in person, keep in mind when you're in person, the cheese is so hot it will burn the roof of your mouth! It's a cute little spot. Glad to be supporting this small business again!

If you are looking for an Authentic New York Style Pie look no further I've been coming to this place for years and have never let Me down yet the owners are as New York as it comes, nicest people ever, and the atmosphere and the food is phenomenal I would go nowhere else but here not for just for a slice or other dishes but the atmosphere.
This only thing greasier than the pizza here is maybe the owner.

We are staying from out of town and choose Buonos for the high star rating. We order a Sicilian cheese pizza, chicken salad, penne with meat sauce and the meatball sliders. Had door dash deliver and timing was awesome. We are staying in a hotel and when we opened all the food bags we were missing a small dinner salad and zero utensils were sent to eat with. So by the time we were able to get the hotel to graciously provide us with forks to eat with our food was not at the good hot temperatures we would have liked. Excellent food just poor consideration for hotel stayers.

"Leave the gun, take the cannoli's!"
What a great place...the staff is super great. All the meals are really well prepared and tastes great...real good value for dollars spent...they take a lot of care in the food and service. I go a couple times a week... They have daily specials...

This was my first time here and I absolutely love this place! I dealt with Meadow, the girl at the front and she had fabulous customer service and was very pleasant to talk to. Right before coming here I went to the Greek gyro place around the corner from them and had quite the opposite experience. The staff was NOT friendly and I decided based off of how I felt after leaving, before even trying the food, that I wasn't going to be back. So stopping by the pizza place after for my GF was a nice way to change my feelings before having lunch. Then, I couldn't even leave the parking lot without taking a bite of the white pizza which was great! All of this on top of the fact that the ambiance of this place is just super chill. They're new to the area and I highly suggest giving them a shot!

A tip on a to go order is not something to be expected. If you get it that’s great, but the pimply faced kid up front should ask the non tippers if they would like cheese and peppers every time. Not just to the ones that throw a tip on their charge as I saw him do. Just moved here and that turned me off to bringing families business here again.
