Delicious sweet pork burrito

Made one of my meals wrong. Ordered corn tortilla but gave me flour. Went on a Thursday and ordered 4 coconut shrimp meals with mango salsa and they had run out of it. Didn’t tell me until they made all four meals.

We waited 20 minutes after our order was supposed to be ready for pickup while the staff chatted away in front of us. It was only after the 2nd time we informed them of the name we were picking up they they started working on our order. We watched them start assembling the food 20 minutes after it was meant to be ready. There were no other guests waiting or standing in line. There’s no excuse and no communication. Ridiculous

I don’t understand why they close at 10pm if everytime I go there after 8pm, food is being put away and there’s barely any protein options left. At that point of time the food that is available also looks dry and old. My husband and I got food from here just last night and our stomachs are upset and one of us puked. Looks like a case of food poisoning unfortunately. We will no longer be customers of Cafe Rio due to such poor and unsafe food quality.

I ordered food online from Café Rio and picked it up without any issues — or so I thought. Once we got home, we realized the dressing for our salad was missing. Frustrated, I drove back to the restaurant to get it sorted out.

As soon as I explained what happened, the employee I spoke with couldn’t have been kinder. She immediately apologized and genuinely asked how she could make it right. She offered me a credit and was incredibly helpful and understanding.

Her response turned my frustration into appreciation. I was so impressed with how she handled the situation that it actually made me want to come back. Great customer service like that deserves recognition!

Ugh, why can't they get an order correct? We don't order online and we changed locations in hopes of getting our order correct. My husband was so happy they made the order correct, he didn't noticed they left out the warm mango salsa that is served on the side. He had to drive back for the special salsa that should accompany the coconut shrimp tacos. We LOVE their Coconut Shrimp tacos just wish we could eat them hot sometime. Their food is 5 star when they serve correctly!

Don’t come here around 8pm because they already start closing and the team is moody. Chipotle gives better portions than this! 🙄

Thursday special not available. Did not get a seafood shipment. They offer no substitute. Tacos were bland. The woman in charge of the cash register was quit rude in her relations with all customers, not just us. Will never be returning to this Cafe Rio location.

They asked me to send then an email in their response to my review. I sent them one. No response from their support team!

Wanted 4 fire grilled chicken tacos but there was nothing but little pieces of crispy chicken left. Asked for some fresh chicken and employees were rude saying that was all they had and it was good enough. I’ve eaten there before, it was not good quality. Complained to cashier too, no help.

Honestly have been having a rough couple of days with some personal stuff, and I’m telling you that the 2 guys working 11/26/24 in the sombreros energy and kindness in the way they interacted with me and the other customers around me was greatly appreciated. Those 2 were busting their butte, as was the rest of the team, but were just so nice. Will certainly be coming back more often because of these employees. Great job and thank you.

First impression of the food was good. It's wayy better than Chipotle and doesn't have worms like they do🤣The service was fine, I'm not sure why everyone else is complaining. Keep it up with the good food portions and price!

Every time I go to this location I have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes after the estimated time food is said to be ready. This time I kindly waited to go up as I saw they were understaffed. When the line was eliminated I asked if they had started the to go orders(this is after waiting 30 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready) as it had slowed down and was met with a Rude response of they never stopped working. I totally understand being busy and understaffed but then to be rude after I waited and acknowledged they were busy and just asked for an update. Final straw. Will not be back.
