I am not sure what is going on, but I loved getting cakes and cupcakes from Caketini. I have had such a great experience over the years until as of late. I have been trying for nearly a couple of weeks to order a cake for my one-year wedding anniversary next week. I received one reply to my initial request, and sent two follow up emails to Cathy after that. Without a response. I even put in a new request via the website and have yet to receive a response to that.I am not sure what has happened to the customer service but I am saddened and disappointed. I probably will not be ordering from them in the future as it seems they are not wanting my business.

Sadly, this place appears to be permanently closed. I will miss the lemon cupcakes with raspberry buttercream frosting. They were exceptional!

Purchased the celebration cake. It was expensive and it didn't taste any different from grocery store cake. Plus the customer service wasn't good. The sales clerk didn't know what the flavors of the cakes were.

So far not off to a good start. I am very concerned that I put a deposit down to hold my date for my wedding cake. At this point in my planning I can't have anything else go wrong! The manager will not return my emails or my phone calls. I have left countless voicemails with the phone number provides on the site. I still have not received any type of communication. Regarding my Wedding cake quote. I'm trying to spend money here and they just don't seem to want my business or anyone's business! I believe The Manager Cathy is scamming me!, we put a deposit down for my wedding cake and she has yet to send anything about a Quote like she promised. This is not okay to ignore customers especially customers who are trying to spend money at your location. I did not pay and will not pay money to be ignored! I thought she was willing to keep in better contact after the first few messages I left about wanting to spend my money here! I have included my 4th email to her. By her actions it seems to me that she took my $200 deposit to hold the date and ran with my money. I feel cheated and robbed!

"Sun, Oct 13, 11:24 AM (1 day ago)" Invoice paid. "All we ask is that you pay this invoice by tomorrow, October 13 at 12 pm in order for us to make the cake for you." Here is the invoice for the two tiered baby shark cake for October 19, 2019." I called to have a cake made for my grandson's birthday party on the 19th. I was referred to this company by a very reputable company, I have done business with numerous times in past. I called and gave a description of my needs, I forgot to tell them my grandson's name, it seemed odd, they never asked considering it was to be written on the cake. Upon looking up their number, I encountered the reviews and decided to take a gander. I was very surprised by what I found and immediately began to panic! I had 50 guests coming to this party and I couldn't serve something inappropriate. I assumed for $260.00, I would wait and pray for a different outcome than the reviewers before me. Something in my gut told me to cancel right away! I tried! On October 14th at 1:42 to get no response and again at 4: 06 to get someone to tell me that I was forfeiting the entire $260.00! She claimed that I had to cancel within 7 days of the event in order to receive my money back. Now granted, the invoice does clearly state this. It also indicates you will receive your money back, minus 10% if you cancel within 7 days of due date. Well...here's my issue. I ordered 6 days prior to the event!! How can I be expected to give 7 days notice, ordering only 6 days before an event? I am no genius, but I am a professional, educated individual. I still can't make 7 days out of 6! But nonetheless, I did find 2 additional bakers, who are amazing by the way, to make the cake not with printed fondant but actual 3D characters for $185.00!! Next time, l will do my homework before I place an order. And just as most have stated, the owner/manager was not available to help. Lesson learned: Take references with a grain of salt and do your homework before you pay your invoice!

I had the best experience with caketini this Friday. We always get their cupcakes and loves them but unfortunately because of the cake reviews we were reluctant to order my special little brother's 50th birthday cake. After the first place fell through I messaged the owner who was more than delightful to work with. She took a custom order with only 2 days to spare. ( all of the other bakeries were booked out 3 months )! The cake had to be chocolate on chocolate buttercream cat, for my special brother's cake. The owner came up with 2 different ways she could do this. It was the cutest thing ever. She suggested adding a bit of vanilla over the first layer of chocolate ,not to change the flavor , but to break up the brown. It looked like a calico kitty. The look on my brother's face when he saw that it was a cat was priceless. "OMG !!! It's a cat!! " he loved it. The best part was that the cake was so moist and the buttercream was perfect. This was everyone's best cake they had ever had , including grandma, who was heading towards the 80s( now that is a lot of cake to choose from). Caketini you will now forever be our first cake choice, as well as cupcakes. I am not sure what happened to these people with bad reviews but we almost missed out!! People sometimes you just have to taste for yourselves and not really purely on the reviews. I'm so glad we did. Best birthday cake ever!!

My daughter loves the cupcakes here and wanted them for her birthday. I wanted to ensure she got her favorite flavor, so I placed an order online for 6 cupcakes and paid 2 weeks in advance of the pick up date. Turns out that doesn't make any difference to this place. Went in at the specified pick up time and not only did they not have my order ready, they did not have the specific cupcake I ordered for the birthday girl, said they sold out! My whole goal in ordering in advance was to prevent being stuck with only having what was left in the case when I went in to the store. The worst part was the manager was in the back and clearly knew I was not happy but she refused to come out and try to rectify the situation. She left it up to the young high school student who had no role in the screw up of my order.

Shout out to the very sweet girl with short blonde hair working today, Oct 1 2019, at 11:45am at the Santan Village location. I came in to pick up a delivery order and she was so incredibly nice and professional. I feel bad I didn't catch her name but management, give her a raise!! Actually every time I've been here everyone has been super nice, once they even gave me a free truffle of my choice! Oh yeah, and the cupcakes are AMAZING!! I ordered a half dozen for my hubby's birthday a few months back and they were all spectacular, although the celebration cupcake was probably my fave :)

This company is horrible! Mostly because of the owner. It is absolutely impossible to get ahold of her. She has a huge attitude, absolutely rude, lack of professionalism. What is the saying again? The customer is always right?? Or at least make sure your customer is happy and taken care of. DO NOT ORDER a cake from here. It is not worth it. The cake is mediocre and they are extremely overpriced. I wish I never ordered from this company, the headache was not worth it at all.
