Normally, I’m a big fan of Coldstone, but this visit was disappointing. My husband and I went to try the new Caramel Carnival Churro flavor, but they were out of the sugar crystals that are supposed to be part of it. The ice cream itself honestly wasn’t very good — it tasted more like coffee than churro and wasn’t what I expected. On top of that, it was already half-melted when we got it, which is unusual for Coldstone. My order was also made incorrectly at first, though...

Ice cream is always inconsistent. I always order the same thing. Some days it’s chock full of toppings and other days it barely has any. These places need to have some sort of standardized portion sizes because it really frustrating for customers when it’s never consistent.

I’ve been to dozens of Ice Cream destinations, Cold Stone is unmatched in its taste, quality and flavor selection. To imagine ice cream that tastes better is more difficult than explaining color to a blind man. Ice cream, throughout its long and delicious history, has reached its pinnacle vertex — Cold Stone Creamery.
