Great experience from the hostess, service, and the food. Everything was great. Live entertainment was an added unexpected bonus for a great evening.

This is one of my go to restaurants for great food and environment. It never disappoints! Everything is delicious from the drinks to the food and especially the desserts. There's always something new to try with the care they take to add seasonally relevant items to the menu. I always know that my favorites will be available and prepared perfectly every time. This is such a beautifully ran and decorated restaurant and perfect for any occasion and time of day. I always recommend it for people that are new to the metro area and I bring all my out of town guest. 10/10 for me and I will of course be back.

Our reservation was for outdoor (only option available on Open Table) and upon check in I asked if we could be seated inside instead (CD's outdoor area at 6:00p wasn't well enough shaded or comfortable despite the misters.). The hostess was VERY pleasant and told us we'd have to wait a bit but she'd accommodate us. Waited just long enough to order drinks at the bar and then we were seated. Well done Culinary Dropout!!!

This was a fun event. I had family from out of town as well as in town family. We have always enjoyed this restaurant and this time was no exception. Everyone loved the experience and the food was A+. We all enjoyed the meal and the bar experience was amazing. Our food server was awesome. I wish I remembered his name but he had the best mustache in the business. He was knowledgeable of all the food and had great recommendations from start to finish. I hope to see him again when we return. The only negative was the live music. It wasn't the artist, they were great, it was the volume. We had to call it quits after we were all like having to upgrade our voices to a slight scream to communicate. Overall this was a wonderful experience. Just be ready if you go there on an evening when they have live music. Not a negative just a warning.

The overall experience was good. I guess I ordered the wrong item. I had the spicy tuna sushi on crispy rice. I didn't realize that the crispy rice was a block of deep-fried rice that you could not even bite. So, for my lunch, I ate 4 bites of spicy tuna topping :( Love, love this restaurant, just wish there was a warning when you ordered this that it is really not edible.

We have been living in the valley for six years and had never eaten at Culinary Dropout, so when we planned an afternoon in the Hertiage District in Gilbert, we thought we'd give it a try. The menu would appeal to a wide variety of people, as most chain restaurants do. It is basic food. Nothing extraordinary. I wouldn't go back. There are many other choices around.

It was a nice evening. I was there for a work event. The food was great, with enough gluten free choices that I left full.
The staff and atmosphere were very nice, no complaints.

I like the place. Not always the best food experience but they always do what they can to make it right.
