Dickey's Barbecue Pit

This place has a 2.1 rating on Yelp. From my $53 order, I can only recommend the baked potato (no meat or chili) and the baked beans. Waste of $$!

If you tip online the owner takes the tips.
What the hell is that about. Give the tip to the employees working you cheap ass.

We ordered dinner for 40 people. Over $960 mind you. We called after the meal was delivered to inform them they gave us hamburger buns instead of the brioche buns we had ordered and paid for. They said they could deliver the buns the following day, however the event was the day we called. The brisket was nothing but fat. Was told they couldn't do anything. Corporate would reach out, haven't heard anything since. Almost a month has passed. What an embarrassment of an establishment. I got a response from the owner asking me to contact guest services, which I did. NO Response. I believe they brush people off by posting this response and not taking care of business in thier own restaurant when the response is from THE OWNER. This is adding insult to injury.

I knew it was a bad choice when i saw the drink station. Normally i love dickeys. My tea had that mildewy taste which means it probably hasnt been dumped and made fresh in a few days. My husbands potatoe was cold and the meat on it was cold. It didnt even melt the cheese a little bit. My pulled pork looked suspish. It had a yellow tinge to it. Ive eaten lots of pulled pork and ive never seen it that color. It smelled a bit off too. It also seemed heavy on the liquid smoke, like the smell was trying to be covered up. I didnt trust it enough to eat it. Fried okra was on point tho! Good job there. I hope this place starts doing better i loved it before this visit.

Walked in at 1:30pm on a weekday. One guy behind the counter. No other customers, the menu tv screens are all off. I walk up to the counter and ask are you guys open? The gentleman doesnt look at me or respawns at all. Walks closer to the counter and appears to be trying to put gloves on. I wait 15 seconds which felt like a lifetime for a response or at least something to acknowledge my presence then left. Very weird experience. Guy might have been to busy for a customer or whatever. Took my business elsewhere.

Price was fair but brisket chili oversiced especially w cumin, dry tough brisket, fatty ribs w lots of cartridge and little meat

Just spent 30 dollars on TWO sandwiches and got handed one of them without a bun. The dude in the bad picture review playing with the cups was one of the ones making my food. I will absolutely be showing up tomorrow for my money back. That is blatant and unacceptable. You should take the tip option away if your employees are gonna purposely make bad food for customers who tip the highest option.

Freaking delicious

I ordered the Giant Baker with Meat. And extra brisket for delivery.THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME MY BARBECUE SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED.

My family and I love dickeys BBQ we’ve been to many different locations in CA and Texas and never have we been to one this bad. We walked in and none of the menu signs are on, you view the menu by reading paper menus that are tapped up. It looks very trashy. They also don’t offer ice cream at this location which is a huge bummer because that’s so much fun especially when you have kids. But all that aside we still were hoping for great food and service. Neither of those were the case. The cashier was unfriendly and rude. The restaurant was empty and that really should’ve been our red flag to just turn around and leave. We ended up spending $50 and most of our food went into the trash! It was disgusting. We ordered ribs that looked similar to charcoal briquettes. My bacon in the green beans looked like wet cat food and the amount of fat and questionable pieces of meat on our plates was scary. Oh and the soda machine was down so there was only tea to wash down this questionable food. The employees weren’t good at providing good food or service but they were very good at stacking cups in the back.

I F’ing love Dickys! Every meat taste like it was slowly cooked overnight to give the maximum flavor! And their Mac n Cheese is true country style! Sharp and moist! And this location also has the new soda dispenser, where you can mix and match!

The beef brisket and pulled pork were both very tasty. Just the right amount of smokiness and flavor. If there were one slight concern was that both meats were slightly dry. Not a big issue but still noticeable. I would definitely eat there again.

Picked up a 2 meat plate today, chicken and sliced brisket with mashed potatoes and fried okra. The chicken and mashed potatoes were literally grey and the brisket was so nasty I couldn't eat it. The only thing edible on the plate was the fried okra. I threw everything out after a few bites. Waste of $20.

The meat was very, VERY dry. The sides were okay. Not really worth the $30.
