Eatalio is a little slice of Italy in Gilbert. Tracy greeted and sat us for a late lunch. She is a most gracious host. The ambiance of this place is inviting. Tracy brought us a delicious bread to start. Marie had the chicken Parmigiana and I had the Cajun Chicken Penne. “Molto bene”, the food was exceptional! A neighborhood eatery that should be on everyone’s list. Highly recommend. Michael

We walked by and this place smelled INSANE. Top notch. We pivoted from our plans and took a chance. What a hidden gem. Absolute best Italian food I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back. Tracy was amazing, kind, took her time to help us find the best for our tastes. I can’t say enough good! Wow!!

Unfortunately, my experience at Eatalia was far from pleasant, and I would not recommend it. Upon arriving for our reservation, we were immediately greeted by the owner at the bar, who asked if we had a reservation and told us she would be with us shortly. After standing there for about 10 minutes, the busboy finally seated us at the table that had been empty the whole time. It felt a little disorganized from the start.
Things didn’t improve from there. The food came out at different times and was, unfortunately, wrong. The waitress offered excuses, saying it was due to how busy they were and even blamed the kitchen for the mistakes. One of our meals had to go back to the kitchen because it was incorrect, and it took a full 30 minutes to return. By that time, everyone else had finished their food, and my son’s meal came out so late that he lost his appetite entirely and ended up taking it to go.
This was supposed to be a special birthday dinner for my son, and the experience was a huge disappointment. The service was lackluster at best, and the food didn’t impress—mediocre at best. It was truly frustrating, and we left feeling completely unsatisfied.
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if this restaurant ended up on the next episode of Kitchen Nightmares. The issues with service and food quality were glaring, and the overall experience just wasn’t up to par. Overall, a poor experience that I would not be eager to repeat.

Had a really bad experience with the pizza I ordered from this place. The crust was soggy, and the whole thing was watery, which made it almost inedible. The cheese had a stale taste, as if it had been sitting for too long or was of poor quality. It definitely didn’t taste fresh—felt more like it had been frozen and poorly reheated. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Cute little place with delicious pizzas!!! We love the pesto chicken and fig & pig pizza- so good! Smaller inside restaurant but has tables on the patio too! We haven’t tried anything we didn’t like!
