The tacos are not good at all, especially the chicken. Had a lot of cheese and veggies, and practically no meat. It’s canned chicken too, so for its price it’s pretty pathetic. Beef had a little more meat but no flavor.

This is a wonderful place for Mexican food! The complimentary salsa, bean dip and chips were delicious. We had the Green Chile Burro “green enchilada style” - it was tender, tasty and the sauce was great! Ed was our AMAZING server, and he took excellent care of us .

The service and the atmosphere are great! We had Salmon enchiladas, Steak fajitas & Fish Tacos . The fish tacos was the only item we believe that could be improved. 2 fish tacos for $20.58 (w/combo) it’s a little price . But everything was great and I would definitely eat there again . Our server was Jory L and he was outstanding!

Kurt was so sweet and kind. I was very unhappy with the taco salad and he replaced it with a quickness. He was attentive and treated us very well. It was our 1st time here, and coming back wasn't on my books after tasting the taco salad but Kurt saved the day. We'll give it another shot. I appreciate the fact that this young man took his time to suggest different plates and told us of his favorite plate, which we did order. It was delicious as were the mini chimis. ( my replacements) Kurt, we'll be back and hope to sit in your section again! Keep up the good work kiddo!

Dec 2025 Went back to give it another try. Server was great. No worries there. But Gecko is no longer the budget friendly place to go for Mexican. +$50 for two plates. I'm sure inflation is part of the root cause, but it's still just beans meat and cheese on some form of a tortilla. Tasted great, but it may now get filtered out due to the price slider.
2023 I hate to say it, but I was really disappointed with the quesadilla I ordered at Gecko. It was easily the worst quesadilla I've ever had! How does anyone mess up a q? I'm pretty sure it was someone else's reject sitting under a heat lamp, because the cheese wasn't even melted when I got it. They forgot to include the jalapeno cream cheese that was supposed to come with it, then wanted to charge for it after asking for a side of it. To make matters worse, my chips and salsa didn't even come out until after I received my sad quesadilla. I mean, come on, Gecko! You can do better than that! I'm hoping this was just a fluke, because I've had decent meals here before. But this experience was definitely a bad showing. April 23
