I’ve been coming here for years—always consistent. This place is quality and you can tell the owners care. I’ve tried almost everything but tend to just order a bunch of bento boxes to go. Best place for this type of food that I can think of anywhere. Highly recommend.

The California roll, deep fried California roll, dumplings, chicken teriyaki and edamame were very good in the bento box! The restaurant is is very clean, inviting and quiet. I will definitely be eating here many more times! Thank you!

Grill n Chop in Gilbert is a decent spot for a quick, easy, and convenient meal. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, the setup is straightforward--you order at the counter, and the menu offers a variety of options like teriyaki, salads, sushi, and ramen. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki salad along with an Alaska roll. Both came out quickly, served in disposable packaging. While both dishes were good, I preferred the beef over the chicken. The salad could have benefited from some salt and pepper, but none was readily available. The restaurant was clean, and there was music playing on a screen that wasn't my favorite, but it made me laugh. The service was friendly, though there was a small issue with the screen when signing, which wasn't a big deal since they weren't busy. My friend had a dish she thought would come with rice, but it didn't. Overall, Grill n Chop offers good portions at a decent price. It may not stand out, but it's a solid choice for a quick, satisfying meal.

This Japanese restaurant was very good. They have an array of offerings and I got a bento box. The prices are good. The food was excellent. The decor is very homely, but it is comforting. Overall, this is a great place to go and eat. They also do takeout and the wait times are low. delicious food. Locally owned. Family owned. Great place for teriyaki tempura or Ramen.

I stopped by this place because of their great reviews on Google. It did not disappoint.! You will have to order your food at the counter, they have plenty of food to choose from. I ended trying their Chiclen Katsu Plate and it was delicious, plus the plate was serve with plenty of food. I will definitely come back to this place again and next time I'll give their Bento Box I try.

Looking for something new with and came across this side joint. While they certainly offer dinner, this is geared more toward the lunch appetite. Things were cooked fine, but it’s the final treatment that needs some help. Not everything should be coated with teriyaki sauce. Especially Katsu chicken should have katsu sauce, or something other than teriyaki. So the food is fine. If you’re in the mood for lunch this is a great place. But we went for dinner and were hoping for something just a little bit more.

Worse than Yogis and expensive for very poor quality food.
The shrimp were literally not edible and were hard as a rock,
The Udon is nothing like real udon and they screwed up with the same weird lab made looking shrimp, no tempura as it should be.
The dumplings taste terrible with an off flavor.
California roll didn’t have cucumber but was decent.
Would never order from them again.

A delectable dinner with beautifully plated churros on a doily. The teriyaki was tasteful with tender chicken and a full meal. Highly recommend this grill and chop.
One recommendation is to use disposable clear plastic plates. A small investment for a better dining experience instead of Styrofoam.
