We came here late on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. We got our food quit fast. We got the soup dim sum, sushi roll and tonkotsu ramen. All delicious! If you're looking to eat some good appetizers or a full bowl of ramen, check this place out.

Such a letdown! Made a reservation for this restaurant to only be told on arrival that we could be seated but the waiter would not be able to get to us for 30 min. There was one waiter for the whole restaurant. Did not even get to try the food. The waiter was not welcoming or apologetic. Unfortunately won't go back for a second try.

I used to love this place. The food was incredible and the presentation was always artfully done, paired with beautiful Japanese music and a wonderful server. Now you are begrudgingly seated and have menus chucked at you by a grumpy old man. The food is no longer perfectly pan fried and served exquisitely, but overly steed and piled onto a small plate in a hurried manner. The miso soup is no longer a symphony of mushrooms and pork belly broth, but is now an oily concoction. I am so sad to see such a wonderful place go downhill. The sunomono (cucumber) salad used to be incredible, but I doubt I'll be returning to try it.

This is the definition of hole in the wall!! If I just passed by it wouldn't have caught my eye but I was looking for ramen near me and decided to try this place out. Fast forward 6 months and I've eaten there at least 6 times!! Whether it be in person dining or take out their food is FANTASTIC. The ramen is delicious and the SOUP BUNS are seriously to die for. Everyone everyone should try Gyoza Bar, legit in my top 5 fav restaurants here in Gilbert!

We got the tonkatsu ramen and it had a unique flavor which was surprisingly good. The soup buns are a must try.

Amazing dining experience! There was only a single server and he told us it would be a short wait following a large table that just ordered but we were in no hurry. The food came out quickly regardless and was as hot and fresh as you could ever ask for. Ordered 1 of everything on the Gyoza menu(double soup dumplings),Las Vegas Rolls(not on the menu but executed very well!), Edamame, Tea, Sake bombers, and the Green Tea Cheesecake. Everything was delicious and would order everything again! Must try spot!

My boyfriend & I have lived in Arizona for almost 2 years & we've been going to gyoza bar ever since. It's the most random ramen joint in the world. The service is odd, they don't make an effort to be friendly & they basically act like they don't want your business. We've been going there for 2 years & they never once acknowledge us as "regulars." However, the food is absolutely insane. The ramen, sushi, & chili oil dumplings are drooling worthy. Thus, why we put up with the awful & awkward service. 9.5/10 (for food) 2/10 (for everything else).

Great hidden restaurant in Gilbert. We went there late on Sunday and the food was fantastic. Very flavorful, good size portions and great service. Food looks just like the pictures. Seriously, if you enjoy Japanese food you need to try this restaurant.

I really wanted to love this place. Has all the makings of hole in the wall space. But it's just not worth the price and the place feels dirty. Not sure the floors have been cleaned in years. Wait staff barely speaks and when they do you can barely hear them even with a near empty room. And they don't come by table often. The table we had was sticky and felt dirty. Food was ok, but no better than cheaper alternatives. $77 + tip for 1 adult and 1 child is crazy. Tried this place based on the reviews, but I can get better sushi and better service for cheaper elsewhere. Probably won't be back.

What a surprise find on a whim. My son and I decided to go out to eat and stumbled on this place. I have the spicy miso ramen with plum wine and my son had shrimp tempura roll with hot green tea. Both were fantastic and we will be back!

Love this place. Food was spot on. Traditional Japanese cuisine in the simplest form As in the menu does not overwhelm with choices That you get all confused and not sure what you want. Heard they are retiring but I sorely hope that's not true.

Was pretty let down trying this place for the first time tonight. We usually go to Ramen Dozo in Tempe but decided we'd try something a little closer to home. Less food for your money and the quality of Ramen Dozos seems better as well, no raw broccoli in the ramen. Will not be returning but others seem to like it so don't let this review scare you off. I would just recommend trying Ramen Dozo before/after you eat here and compare.
