Such a gem! The staff are so sweet, the service is quick, and while the space is small, they do have indoor seating which is a nice bonus. The vibe is really good, cozy, welcoming, and the baristas are genuinely friendly, making you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit. The pastry case is filled with tons of tempting bakery items, and it’s hard not to grab one every time you stop in.

Drinks I Tried:
Snickerdoodle Chai (Hot): Sweet but not too sweet — perfect if you want that fresh-baked cookie flavor without the calories of an actual cookie. The warmth really sells the “fresh from the oven” vibe.

Iced Cold Brew: Amazing value! The medium (24 oz) is only $4, and they don’t overfill it with ice, so you actually get a full cup of coffee. The large (30 oz) is just $5 — which is wild when you think about paying more than that for a tall at Starbucks and getting way less coffee.

Overall, Higher Grounds has great drinks, a cozy vibe, and baristas that make the experience even better. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee or sitting down for a few minutes, it’s absolutely worth the visit.

Usually a great place love getting my coffee from here, however they are extremely inconsistent and updating their operating hours, drove a half hour on a Saturday just for them to be closed.

Just came to try HG out for the first time and everything from the service to the delicious espresso and food (chorizo burrito and breakfast sandwich) was on point. Will definitely be returning. Well done, HG!

One of my favorite places to pick up locally roasted whole coffee beans!

Wonderful little coffee spot, friendly employees. They have a small assortment of muffins and pastries. They offer online ordering for quicker pick up.

Maybe an odd location, but this sweet little coffee shop is a gem!
Great coffee and in house made baked goods as well as a full menu! I had an Americano (if they make a good Americano, any of their coffee drinks are sure to please) and it was great! I also tried the GF Carrot Cake and it was delicious!
The service is great and with a smile!

I thought this was a sit down breakfast place. This is really a neighborhood coffee shop with amazing food.

The burritos are really good and FILLING. The pancakes are also really good. Definitely get what you pay for. Everything is made to order with care. The staff is equally amazing.

I wouldn't order the Frenchman again. $10, and worse then a sandwich from Wendy's. The eggs must be cartoon, the bacon must be pre cooked. It came out fast, but too fast.
A lot of places overcharge for poor quality, this just one just finally got me to post about it. I tried to eat it, and pick out the good parts, added salt, but it just wasn't good, especially at that price. Idk, try it for yourself I guess.

We use this coffee for our bakery that just opened! Within 5 minutes of our first day, we had 3 different people tell us this was the best brewed coffee they’ve ever had. Not bitter, swirls great, has a great color, and has an amazing taste!!!

We appreciate you HG Coffee, keep it up!

The staff is always super friendly. The space is super cozy to enjoy a meal and all the different food options I’ve tried have been very tasty. Definitely try their baked goods 😋

Coffee is good. Do not get food here. It took over 30 minutes to get a couple breakfast sandwiches and kids meals. When I asked how much longer, I was told with an attitude they had to defrost the bread. The food that finally came out was sub par. The cost and wait times is same / more than a sit down restaurant. Not worth it.

Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Food takes way too long.

Stood there for 10 minutes and was completely ignored. There was only one table with people at it so the poor service wasn't because they were busy. With the high ratings, we expected better.
