Well my friends, tgis place isnt for everyoneand not for me. I walked into this bakery. Not impressed with anything that they had No apple fritters, no fritters at all,no German chocolate cake, sooooo not impressed with the display case. Not buying anything at all. The young man running the cash register, I don't think that he was cery informed, had a clue what was on the menu. Didn't answer any questions at all🙃🫨🤥🤡💀👽😣 p.s. the same old response is is the same old response is like alllllll the other establishments I reviewed. They like it when they hear the good responses but when you critique them, they all say the same thing like, we are sorry for your experience and we take pride, Yada, Yada, Yada and nothing ever gets done......
I had not been here for about 4 months and I was excited to take a co-worker here about two weeks ago. When she ordered, they were out of the cracked chicken (even though that is the highlight sandwich) so she had to order something else. I ordered my normal Turkey Cranberry sandwich which did not come with the side salad that normally comes with it. Needless to say we were both disappointed.
I went to kneaders again today, pulled up to the drive through, and it took them awhile to greet me. No big deal, but then I ordered my Turkey Cranberry sandwich again today, to be told they are out of cranberry sauce. Mind you, there is a Safeway next door which sells cranberry sauce. This is about the only sandwich I enjoy here, so I had to decline to order and I left. It seems they need to do better with order inventory since I had a bad experience of them “being out of items” twice within a two weeks period. Disappointed.
The food is always phenomenal.

We had the Chicken Pesto sandwich and 2 cups of loaded potato soup, the sandwich was blah, not much chicken for $11.00, but what can you expect, the soup was far from loaded, tasted like dirty dish water, I'm sure they used water instead of cream or milk, and loaded with what? It was potatoes and water, yuk.

Love their broccoli cheese soup and French country sourdough. I go specifically for that. Sandwiches and pastries are soon good.

I called ahead and ordered 6 cinnamon rolls. I specifically asked if they had 6. I was told, yes. When I got there I had been charged for six but then they told me they only had 3. I was very disappointed. They did adjust the charge but I never have things go right when I come here. I think it is time to find a different location. This location is convenient to an office I work at, and why I prefer it, but this is the 3 rd time I have had a poor experience here.

I ordered two chicken tortilla soups with two baguettes. Total for the soups/bread was about $20, $10 each. I got no baguettes, so I can't even rate them, and they were out of tortilla soup. I didn't find this out until the UberEats driver texted me when he was picking up the order. I was about to ask the driver if he could cancel the entire order since that's all I wanted, but I didn't think it was fair to the driver to waste his time for something that's the restaurant's fault. According to Google, restaurants can cancel orders if they're out of an item, which I wish you did since you were out of tortilla soup and apparently bread. All I wanted was tortilla soup with baguette and what I got was a chicken rice soup and no baguette. Uber only refunded me $6 total so I won't come back here again.

Hands down the best French toast in the world. My only complaint is no other French toast can stand up since.

Great food and friendly servers. Very busy at weekday lunch and noisy. Hard for my hearing impaired husband. But this is still one of our favorite places to eat.

I just stopped at Kneaders on Higley and Baseline in Mesa AZ for dinner after working late. I ordered a Turkey, Bacon Avocado sandwich and a cup of soup. I just took a bite out of my sandwich and there was 2 small pieces of Avocado, no bacon, wilted letruce and long black hair. I bought dinner for myself and my daughter and spent almost $38 to get basically just bread. I went through the drive thru, it wasn't busy inside or in the drive thru but I waited 15 minutes for what you see. This is so inexcusable.

The French toast is delicious. Also, if you're in the mood for it you can get refills on that sweet treat for free. Bottomless French toast!!! They are huge so good luck having more than 2 or 3. Service is slow but they do get pretty busy. Be proactive on your orders.

I stopped by to buy cookies and ordered a dozen assorted cookies. After waiting for 25 minutes, I had to ask someone if they were getting my cookies for me. One of the employees finally put my order together after I asked. I opened up the box and there were only 6 cookies. I’m pretty we can all agree that a dozen equals 12. The employee argued with me and said that a dozen equals 6. I just spent $37 on 6 cookies. This whole experience made me never want to step foot in this store again. The employees were rude and completely unprofessional.
