$11 for a side order of fries? What is the world coming to. This is just sad

Good experience as always at Kona Grill—Gilbert. The lobster avocado roll and chicken satay were both fresh and flavorful. Mark, our server, was kind and helpful, and we appreciated Tim’s quick visit to make sure everything was great.

This was our third visit and it keeps getting better. We tried the miso-sake sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. Dottie, the manager, chatted with us while we waited to be seated—super warm and welcoming!

First time here and I was blown away! The macadamia nut chicken was absolutely delicious, and Angelica, our server, was incredibly attentive and friendly. You can tell management is doing something right—everyone was smiling, and the vibe felt really polished.

Disappointing Experience for the Price
We were really surprised at how overpriced this place was for such an average dining experience. $6 for a Diet Coke is just unreasonable. My husband and I ordered the Pad Thai and a burger with miso soup, and our total came to $90 — which felt excessive given the outdated atmosphere and lack of excitement in the food. The staff was friendly, which we appreciated, but overall, the experience just didn’t justify the cost. Definitely not worth the time or money in our opinion.

We made reservations for dinner and forgot to mention it was my wife's birthday. It had a great fish tank, Music, A nice ambience. Once we got there Our server was Angelica once energetic and friendly person on the floor. She was smiling and making conversation with customer. I Mentioned to angelica that it was my wife's birthday, and she instant was very excited and offered me the options available and she said she will arrange it. we are 5 with 3 kids had a good dinner. She was very knowledgeable and suggested certain side dishes, sauces which we bought. Overall great experience. I couldn't meet or see a floor manager, but I observed our server Angelica was constantly visiting the tables she was waiting making communications with her customers, Assuring the everything into a perfection laughing including us even how busy she was. We thanked her and made sure was not getting just a tip and make her evening to show that she was special for making us special :-) I wish and hope that her hard work is recognized by the management. She shows great leadership. We will definitely visit her again.
Suggestion :- Fish tank could have some colorful fish,

We had such a great night at Kona Grill—Gilbert. The vibe felt fresh and welcoming, and everyone—from the hostess to the chef—was incredibly kind. Donny was our server and took great care of us. The spicy shrimp tempura roll was bursting with flavor!

Every time we come back, it just gets better. The energy from the staff is always positive, and you can tell they enjoy working here. The filet sliders and rainbow roll were our favorites tonight. The restaurant feels like it’s in great hands.

Quick lunch stop turned into a full meal because everything looked too good to pass up. The spicy tuna roll and lettuce wraps were amazing. Even the chef was walking around with a smile, delivering food and chatting with guests—love that!
