Kona Grill - Gilbert

Terrible quality food. Meat was half fat and fries were burnt. Server never came back to check on food or drinks. Used to like it. Had not been in a while. Will not go back. Highly disappointed

It would be nice if they could be more flexible to allow substitutes. Also, very limited sushi selection.

I'm so disappointed in our Thanksgiving dinner choice to dine here. We were seated right at our reservation time, but waited 50 minutes for three entrees. Our drinks sat empty more than half of the time we were in the restaurant. I wanted to order more sushi and our family wanted to order dessert, but we weren't able to because the waiter never came back after dropping off the food. There were also one or two floor managers walking around that never noticed our drinks or wait time for food and never checked in. I don't plan on coming back. Never had an issue with other locations.

A great variety of items to choose from. We had Thanksgiving dinner and they had an amazing Macadamia crusted Turkey plate. Blaze, our server, was fantastic.

Our reservation on Thanksgiving day was for 3pm. Perfect timing, no wait to be seated, served, and eating. The menu items we chose were outstanding, some with great twists on old time recipes. Portion sizes were very generous. Service was mostly prompt, as the restaurant began filling up. The only change I would suggest is lowering the music volume. I would dine here again in a heartbeat. Kona Grill helped my first Thanksgiving without my spouse, but with other family, a very memorable experience. Bravo!

We have gone to Kona Grill several times and have always had a good experience. Due to a shoulder injury I was unable to cook Thanksgiving dinner so we decided to book at Kona Grill. The Turkey dinners were terrible. The Turkey was dry, the mashed potatoes were thick and the green beans were withered. None of the food was hot. The service was very slow especially considering there were many empty tables. My husband loves pumpkin pie. It took almost ten minutes to get it and it was delivered with no forks. The server said she would bring some but she never returned. We had to flag someone else down to get forks. It was a very disappointing meal.

I went here for dinner and it was absolutely a 0/10, 0/5, just flat ZERO! I felt absolutely invisible as I watched 3 other parties get sat and served before me. I mean how hard is it to serve a table for one? Seriously! I cannot even tell you my servers name she didn’t tell me so I’ll just call her Casper. Casper was awful ! The underwhelming service made my meal taste like porridge and my Cosmo tasted like mop water. I would hate to pull the race card but I truly would hate to believe I was treated like this because im an AAW! Lets be forward thinking people its the year of our Lord 2025! In short, I won’t be back.

lettuce wraps were awful. Should have been served with iceberg lettuce not huge pieces of leafy lettuce. Had to ask for tortillas to eat the wraps. Angry edamame was good though. Our server was not very attentive. Had to stand up at our table to find her. She was at the bar in conversation with bartender.

Average food but very expensive for what we ordered. I had fish and chips...it was almost $40! for a single piece of fish...snd meh fries.

Erika was a phenomenal server. She was very attentive and we had engaging conversation.

we waited two full hours for our food which never came, our saint of a waiter was helping us the whole time but that manager is so full of themselves and needs to find a job that better fits her lack of ability. it was veterans day and my father served for 27 years. it was also my birthday celebration. what a terrible experience. the entire seating area had maybe 6 people in it, we were told the kitchen was fully staffed and we STILL didn’t get out food. if you care about people, don’t go here.

Had an Open Door reservation. 1,/2 hour later we are still waiting.. People seated have been seated an hour and 1/2 ago.. still waiting on food.. I think I will head out.. Happy Veterans day too me.😞

Nikki at the bar is so sweet and took such good care of us on a crazy veterans day night!

Hostess and entire staff was under pressure and rude. Made a reservation at 7pm. Never got seated. left after 45 minutes. Customers were seated at 5:30 and still waiting for food. People were walking out. Bartender charged my wife's card for someone else's food even after she clarifed with them. Place needs new management. Or just shut the doors and go out of business.
