Mesquite Fresh Street Mex

Love their chicken tacos too (which is big news, as I almost NEVER order chicken tacos), but their Shrimp tacos are unbelievably good. I am fussy about shrimp tacos, but these are the bomb, not kidding. If they had shrimp every day I'd probably eat here 4-5 times a week. What a pleasant surprise!

i feel like they were really good and fresh when they first opened. the meats are decent, but the beans and rice and veggies have recently tasted like they’ve been sitting there all day

Hands down. THE best grilled chicken & carne asada I've had here in AZ! Coming from L.A. I've felt AZ mex food had fallen short until... experiencing the mesquite grilled FLAVORFUL carne asada tacos today! Woowwww the mesquite notes come thru in the chargrilled meats so nicely . Highly recommend!

Food was good but the lady who served gave us worse portions than chipotle and for the price I rather just go to chipotle.

The Steak Bowl was AMAZING! The steak was nice and tender, the rice was perfect, the beans tasted super fresh. The fajita veggies were EXCELLENT, perfectly cooked. I will DEFINITELY be eating here again soon.

A friend of mine introduced me to Mesquite Fresh Street Mex and how grateful am I for that! My children and I enjoyed the burritos this weekend that I went back today Monday with my coworker. She had a great experience also! Thank you for the consistency and deliciousness!

Place is always very consistent. As a family this is one of the more cost-effective routes to get really good food very quickly. We always have leftovers.

OK, I took my adult daughter out to spend some time together. She likes to try places she has never been before, so she asked if we could try this place. So, we went. Atmosphere is great, friendly service, but I found the food to be lacking. Let me be more specific, the flavors were not as rich as I would expect from a Mexican Grill with a similar set up to a Chipotle. When the lady picked up the sauce dispenser and asked if I wanted quac, I said yes. However, the quac was more of a pureed homogeneous sauce with no quac chunks at all. My daughter ordered a quesidilla with both chicken and steak and commented that all she could taste was the salt. The Pico de guillo was especially lacking in any rich tomato flavor and didnt taste good at all plain. We will not be coming back at a price of $12 per person for a meal we both agree was forgettable, except we will never forget the quac dispensed from a salad dressing bottle...

Mesquite makes the absolute best burritos and bowls. Fantastic option for breakfast or lunch. Portions are big and filling. Authentic made to order food with tons of flavor.
