We haven’t been back since the remodel. We were able to go, yesterday, Jan. 1, 2026. We were hoping the HVAC issues had been addressed. Unfortunately, the restaurant was still warm, even on a chilly day. And the bathroom is still warmer than the restaurant. If the heat was on, there is no need even on a cold day, in Phoenix, to run heat in a restaurant. As we continued our meal, the restaurant did empty a little bit. The HVAC did appear to be on. However, it was unable to keep up with the customers at the time.
We were sad to learn the kitchen ran out of two of the items we wanted. Ham and blueberry compote. Settled on something else.
Several tables sat full of dirty dishes after customers left.
I’m assuming with all these issues that the restaurant was understaffed today. At least, I hope that was the issue and not the new normal after the re-model.
However, there is a positive side:
Servers were running around constantly keeping things moving. Everyone seemed pleasant from afar.
Our server was Chris. He was friendly and welcoming as always. We are lucky enough to have had him last two times we’ve been in. He did not appear to be overwhelmed by the how busy the restaurant was or the fact that the kitchen was running out of items.. Kept a smile, positive and happy conversation when at the table. Very friendly and helpful with helping us find something else on the menu since the items we wanted were out.
The restaurant does look nice in pale yellow. Very welcoming.

We showed up on a late sunday morning. The service from the hostess to the bar area to the restaurant were above and beyond. we went early to secure a table for a large party. They set us early and did not mind that our people were fifteen minutes behind us. I've never run into that before...wow. food is always good. Drinks are amazing. Service is beyond. Recommend.
