Busy place with a great cross section of families, couples, and happy hour patrons. Looked promising. Started with ceviche - weirdly dry and tasteless, corn fritters - delicious and well dressed and presented. Moved on to mahi tacos - delicious in every way, and rellano -hotdishy and served without a knife which took forever to arrive. The service staff have assigned responsibilities and do not cross over. Server took the order and intermittently served it. Other servers came from the kitchen bearing hot items. One server spent 80% of her time chatting with the couple in the next booth. While other people were delivering our food and utensils, it felt like she wasn't doing her job. Chef came out a couple times and toured the tables. Didn't seem to serve any purpose. Desserts were a highlight. Very well executed churro and ice cream dish and uniquely seasoned tres leches cake. Felt like a Baja bar that just opened. May get better with time.

I was seated by a pleasant hosteas. My server, I don’t remember her name, didn’t seem to want to be there. The restaurant was completely empty. I sat at the table and ate chips and salsa while looking at my phone. I was alone and had my headphones on. I saw the ridew waitress walk over to my table several times and roll her eyes at me. She didn’t think I saw, but I did. 3 times she did this. The most embarrassing part, another customer sitting across the way saw her every time and gave me a look like he felt sorry for me because she was being mean. A person should be able to eat in peace and not be judged for being alone by their server.

The most obnoxious thing is a guy who I think was a bartender but I’m not entirely sure because he just walked around the dining room whistling. The waitress gave us dirty looks because we ordered 2 appetizers to start. We WERE going to order food too but she kept asking in a snotty way if we were ordering any food. The place was EMPTY for a Saturday night, it wasn’t like we were talking up space. What a huge disappointment…. Avoid this ridiculous place. We’ve been here MULTIPLE times but this was our first time back in about 6 months. Unreal. It’s funny because we aren’t shy spending money at restaurants and were excited for this dinner. Never again

Good food. Weird service. The waitress was both bartender and waitress and was over worked. The other servers didn't seem to be doing anywhere near as much as her. She was excellent but I felt bad for her. Liked the nachos and crispy avocado taco!

We had a fantastic time and a great server Logan. We were catching up with friends and he made sure our drinks were full, our chips kept coming and had great suggestions for dinner options. This is the second time we've been there and will definitely be back again! :)
