Petersen's Ice Cream and Cafe

Petersen's Ice Cream offers great tasting ice cream flavors. We were able to sample a few of their flavors. The staff were pleasant and helped us learn about their menu. They informed us they list all their ice cream flavors on the menu but rotate the flavors they offer in store. I like how all their ice cream flavors have fun names, they lists what they are made up of and allergens. We learned they have their original store in Downtown Gilbert.

They offer indoor and outside seating. The inside is bright, pink and gives a vintage ice cream parlor vibes.

Our favorite flavor was the Nana's Banana Puddin- it's made of banana pudding ice cream swirled with marshmallow crème and vanilla cookies.

Best ice cream ever. We used to live in Chicago, owned a restaurant down the block from their Oak Park location, then moved to Gilbert. I have a feeling the Petersen family is following us!!!

Best ice cream Cafe around! They truly helped make our gender reveal so unique and so special. Kayla and Ally were so kind and so sweet! Highly recommend going here, the ice cream and milkshakes are phenomenal and the place itself is so cute and cozy. Oldies playing on the radio was perfect too. Couldn't have picked a better location!

Was very expensive and didn't have prices for cones . I ordered a one scoop for 4.95 and instead I had to pay 6.61. They also only had two people and only one was helping

Great ice cream shop in the heart of downtown Gilbert. The staff is friendly, the shop is clean, and the ice cream is awesome!

The ice cream was good. However, it was difficult to tell if the store was open from the outside. There is no signage to say open, or hours of operation. The only trash can was in the back by the cashier, would be helpful to have a trash can in the seating area. There was exposed insulation on the ceiling of the store.

The flavor combos are unique and yum yum! I was incredibly impressed with the mix in's. Clever but not too different...A+ for creativity. I don't even love ice cream and I'm ranting about this place. Will bring back friends. I like the Graham Canyon!

Been to this location 2 times since they have opened and I can’t get enough of them. Of all the ice cream shops in the valley, I feel like they have the best pricing. Their ice cream is great quality, they give you decent sized scoops and the staff is friendly. I love Petersen’s and will continue to recommend and also bring other people to try it out!

The girls were so friendly from the moment we walked in. The decor is super cute and there are lots of fun flavors. They even have some BYU Creamery flavors! Oh yeah and they have Dole Whip!!!!!

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. So far I only tried the Pot Hole ice cream flavor but it was extremely good. Definitely worth the trip back.

OMG The pistachio ice cream is incredible! It has almonds and pistachios in it! So delicious! We also ordered a banana split and sea turtle milkshake! Absolutely perfect! The girls working were so pleasant and sweet and helpful! 10/10!!! I’m
