This is the 3rd time my family and I have been coming here. The waitress we always get is just terrible. She seems as if she hates being there. My husband and I went again today for lunch. She gave us 1 menu to look at?? We had to ask for another one. It’s common sense to give each person a menu to order from. We ordered multiple orders of sushi, she gave us 1dipping sauce to eat from. We asked for another sauce and got charged for it… They need to hire someone else. We will not take a chance coming here again. Food was good but the service given by this waitress with glasses dark short hair is just horrible. I would NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE.

Ask for Johnny chef for tepanyaki show! He is very friendly, professional! Had a good experience. Definitely will see come back and book a show again.

The food and service here is amazing. Once it's hot, this place isn't so comfortable. They try to compensate with fans and portable swamp coolers, but the AC at this location just can't keep up with the summer heat/humidity and you're sweating after 30 minutes. It really sucks because the service and food is so great here, and the sushi is fresh and tasty, but if you can't sit in the heat, it's not enjoyable.

We ate sushi for lunch our usual place is closed on Tuesdays so we thought we would give this place a try. Ordered the sushi bento box and got this. Overall okay food but small portions and give me a break a few lettuce leaves are not a salad. Plus this is not a bento box and I did not enjoy the salad dressing on my sushi

This used to be my favorite sushi spot when I lived in Arizona — I have so many great memories tied to Ryu Sushi & Teppanyaki. I recently came back to visit and was genuinely excited to dine here again. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with how much the quality has gone downhill. The sushi rice was falling apart and not cooked properly, and the overall flavors were lacking. It just didn’t have the same freshness or attention to detail it once did. Sad to see a once-great place decline like this.

My husband and I went here for the first time yesterday. We ordered 3 sushi rolls and 2 Sake bombers. The sushi was absolutely delicious and a great size diameter wise. The sake was heated perfectly and was so refreshing. The only CON to the entire experience was the poor ventilation from the teppanyaki tables. It was rather smokey and hazy due to them. Such a shame because everything else was so stellar. For that reason alone, we may not return. Ryu, please fix this! 🙏

I've been here twice for lunch. They are NOT busy at lunch. They're in a great location and the food is good, so I don't know. I always have lots of time when I go, so maybe it takes too long for some lunch breaks. I love the vibe and it's a great place to meet and chill for lunch. They have grear sushi and lots of selections. They will serve fresh wasabi if you ask for it. I am definitely recommending this place for sushi.

We came here for lunch and I ordered the bento box with teriyaki chicken. The chicken was BAD. It tasted like it was microwaved. I mentioned to a worker walking by and her response was you must not like white meat. I actually eat white meat all the time but this tasted bad with a spongy texture. She finally said her cook must have over cooked it and then walked away. I found out later she was the owner. So disappointing. She did nothing… didn’t offer to recook it… nothing. Not even an I’m sorry. I’m not picky and I couldn’t eat it. Definitely will not be returning.

Nice waitress. Good attentive service. Katsu soup no flavor. Tuna roll had very little tuna inside. They charge for a small condiment of chili oil ! OMG! I won't go back just because of that pettiness. Tuna roll not cheap either.
