Great food and really good portion sizes. I was pleasantly surprised by how even something simple like beef chow mein could be so much better than so many other places.Next time you're craving Asian food, give this place a shot.

Seriously great place to eat. I enjoyed everything about dining here with the exception of one small detail. Reservations are not your typical reservations. You will be seated with strangers even if you are wanting an exclusive dining experience. Luckily our strangers were celebrating the same thing we were and they were very nice too...still was very awkward for both of our parties to be forced to mingle. It's a small detail amidst the abundance of positives this places offers but sadly it slightly ruined the experience for us.

I rarely write reviews but had to make an exception for Ryu Sushi and Teppanyaki as they were hands down the most delicious, accommodating and entertaining (to the point of being memorable) Teppanyaki restaurant I've ever visited.Came here for the wife's birthday with a party of 9 and while we briefly waited for our seat the hostess kept our youngest entertained. Got seated very quickly and our server made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the night (even up to the birthday celebration).Of course the star of the show was the chef (pretty sure his name was Choy but I'm terrible with names). Not only did he meet the more specific requests of some of our party (grilling a steak to "very very medium rare" whatever that means) but the guy was HILARIOUS and entertaining while doing so... in fact if you're having a bachelorette party you'll probably want to come here specifically for this chef.By the time we finished it felt like we had been to a 5 star restaurant and comedy show all at the same location. We'll definitely be back to enjoy this top notch service in the future.

Went here on a date night with my wife. Wait wasn't too bad for a Saturday night. Server was great and very attentive to us during our visit. We tried two sushi rolls we picked and a 3rd the server recommended. Honestly I should've let her pick all of them because her recommendation was my favorite! I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. They have a large menu so we'll be back soon to try more! Thank you!

I ordered miso soup and combo tempura. I used to have an office in Tokyo in the Ginza district. So I can say I know Japanese food. This was the worst miso and tempura I have ever had, bar none. I frequently had lunch at ten ichi tempura, one of most well known tempura restaurants in Japan. I know what this should taste like. And this was terrible. This miso was luke warm and tastelessThe tempura was drenched in oil, the vegetables were overcooked and soggy. The batter was was like goo, thick and not at all crisp. on the positive. The service was acceptable.

We recently held my daughter’s 17th birthday at Ryu with 16 of her friends. They were phenomenal in accommodating our group, making my daughter feel special and helping me with the planning and execution of the party. The chefs were fun and interactive and entertained the group. The food was exceptional as well! Would highly recommend! Thank you to Ryu for making my daughter’s birthday party a huge success!!! We will be back!!
