Hidden gem!Slate is a truly hidden gem restaurant located within the Trilogy at Power Ranch. I have been going there for lunch or dinner for quite some time and I always had a great experience (they serve breakfast as well but I did not have a chance to try it yet). The place offers dining room and patio overlooking the golf course with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains along with live music on selected days. Check their event calendar for more info. The food is always amazing, offered with fresh and quality ingredients, good presentation and sometimes with a surprising twist. It is great place for either quick meal, dinner or any small or bigger celebration event. I highly recommend this restaurant! Enjoy ?Parking: There is a parking available in front of the restaurant however this place is located within 55+ gated community so in order to get there you need to go through the security gate. Stay on the left lane to enter as a guest.

Went here with my fiancé for dinner after he proposed. The food was great, there was live music, and the staff were exceptionally nice. I think everyone went out of their way to congratulate us, which was so kind. Highly recommend! A big thank you to our waiter Brandi who was amazing and to the manager!

Great service super friendly. Refreshing menu. I had a specialty cocktail and a flatbread. Everything was excellent. Will be back to try dinner service

Typically enjoy coming here but the last few occasions they have played the music and it is just too loud for the place. I would suggest keeping the music but tone it way down. Love coming in here and being able to enjoy a meal with our mom but if it continues to be loud we will probably stop coming all together. Also dislike that you changed the filet. Bring back the wagyu filet , and change the menu a little bit.

The food is normally quite good. However, I had potatoes, au gratin and walleye. The potatoes were simply fried our roasted chunks with what appeared to be watered down to whiz. This is not my idea of au gratin. Also, I had two small pieces of fish. It certainly was not worth $32.

It was just alright... the restaurant was empty, but we were given a table near the restroom. Nothing with a view. The food was okay, but nothing special. Could tell the server was anxious for us to leave, when we'd only been seated an hour and they weren't busy at all. No refills were offered either.

Overall, we had a nice evening; Brandy took great care of us and the food was very good. But it definitely wasn't a place to enjoy dinner with friends and conversation; it is INCREDIBLY noisy! As a result, a few of our entrees were slightly off (ultimately corrected with no problem at all) because our server couldn't hear some of the requests; we also ended up just chatting with the people on either side because we couldn't hear the folks across the table or at the other end. Ultimately, this is a great place for anyone wanting to grab drinks or a bite after golf or as a pre-dinner kick-off before going somewhere to enjoy dinner and time with family/friends. The noise level just really put a damper on our evening.

The restaurant is tied to the golf course but stands on its own. The food is very good, but not great. Be prepared to eat well with a large bill at the end. The place can get quite loud and the back door opening and closing to the golf course can get chilly on a winter evening.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Went for lunch yesterday with 3 friends prior to golfing. I ordered the tomato soup as my side with the reuben sandwich . The soup was amazing, made from scratch and I was left wanting more. My companions all loved their meal and I was looking at the beef dip as also amazing. Lots of sliced beef within a fresh bun. I eat here frequently and was surprised to see the negative reviews about 5 or 6 months ago. The golf course was undergoing re-construction of the greens so maybe the regular staff was not on hand with their reduced volumes of guests at the restaurant. I'm looking forward to coming back for the prime rib. It is always spot on and their home made horse radish makes a perfect challenge to eat with the meat. I always order a dry gin martini here and i feel it is the best martini that is every made in a bar/restaurant. Supper meals should be reserved at least a day ahead of time, they do get busy. Thank you management and staff.

Service was excellent, food was just Ok - meatloaf and prime rib entrees. Room is loud due to all tile with no curtains, cushions, etc to absorb any sound. Lightening could have been a bit dimmer for ambience. Would go again but likely for lunch or apps, not dinner.

This was our first time at Slate Bistro and it quickly became a new favorite! We went for happy hour and sat on the patio which overlooks the golf course. It is a peaceful setting, and you can have a conversation and actually hear the people sitting next to you! The service was fantastic, the food was tasty, and we loved the setting. Can't wait to go back!

Server was outstanding. Oddly the hostess said we had to wait for 7 minutes to our reservation time. Same table was available when the 7 minutes were up! Not even a It'll be a few minutes. Just you'll need to wait until your reservation time.

Prime rib and salmon were good. But baked potato and risotto arrived at the table cold. Risotto was unrecognizable - creamy and thick and gooey. Onion soup was thick and difficult to spoon up. Salad dressing was supposed to be Caesar but did not taste like any Caesar dressing. Waitress started out her time with us complaining about some new procedural changes she didn't like. After taking our order we did not see her again until I waved her down to get the bill. Others served the food.
