It's just not that good. Had the caprese, the chopped salad & the mushroom/ham pizza. All disappointments, not a lot of flavor and were a chore to finish. Staff were nice, but i would rather go somewhere else. Especially with how pricey it is.
The Italian sausage pizza is the best I've had anywhere. The crust is perfectly crispy yet light. The cheese and sauce are perfect proportions .
We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, salads, and bread! Everything is so fresh and thoughtfully made. We can’t wait to come back!
Such a great surprise! It’s a chill Mediterranean spot near Joe's Farm Grill and Buck & Rider you order at the counter, grab a table outside, and the food comes out fast. Everything we tried, from the meatballs to the lentil sandwich, was super fresh and crazy good, plus the patio’s comfy, dog-friendly, and perfect for hanging out.
Source needs to find a way to get all the gnats/fruit flies out of their restaurant before I eat there again! It’s hard to even enjoy a beer without worrying a bug is going to dip in and ruin your drink. Seriously, this is gross!
Wildly confused and misleading front counter young woman.
Bland. Decided to try this place out based on the Phoenix New Times rating it as a top 100 restaurant in the Valley (whose reviews I typically respect). Ordered the Barrata appetizer, which was engulfed by a hoard of heirloom cherry tomatoes which all tasted like juicy cardboard. Had the Farro Bowl with the add-on of shrimp making it a $26 bowl (plus tax). Shrimp was over seasoned and the remaining bowl was totally bland and boring. My husband, and I also ordered the mushroom and ham pizza. It was soggy, and while I thought the chicken sausage was not bad, We both agreed that the tomato sauce was again…bland. It made me regret, ordering a chocolate chip cookie and loaf of sourdough bread to take home at before trying out the restaurant’s dishes. I brought the cookie home to my children. We cut the large cookie into quarters, each took a bite, and before I had said one disparaging remark about the restaurant, they all asked why it was so… Bland! Unfortunately, we had a piece of the sourdough bread with our Barrata, and it actually took away from the dish, making it even more bland than it already was. Can I return the loaf of sourdough already in my take-home bag??
While I can see that this restaurant is clearly trying to use high-quality ingredients, they have missed the mark on making anything worth eating. My husband, I spent iver $75 on our date night, and we left 75% of our food uneaten. We were very hungry and are typically pretty happy to please with restaurants, so this is the first time for us to just not eat our food.
I hate to leave any negative reviews about any restaurants because I know how hard it is for people in this industry to survive, let alone in this current climate! But save your money and eat ANYWHERE ELSE.
Absolutely love the food here, my only complaint is the menu having been basically the same for almost a year now - not many options to begin with, but not rotating as often makes it hard to frequent this place as options are already limited.
Hummus and Pizza were so good
Tbh I never thought I would ever make a review on this place. What was once a good restaurant is now what I think is a terrible place to eat. It seems like the owner is constantly changing all of their food. The food used to taste great but has since become a bland mess. Source used to have fine breads and from what I’ve tasted.. it now tastes like pizza dough. Not to mention the prices have changed on top of that.
The owner is a jerk and it seems like the workers are miserable there. It’s like they lost all their happiness.. The past two times I’ve gone in he’s had almost a whole new set of workers there as well . He has no care for his customers due to comments he has said in front of myself and others.. He seems to care more about himself than anyone else.
I genuinely think people should stay away from sources and find a better place to go to.

It’s a hidden gem! We had pizzas, hummus, pita bread, and a side salad. Everything was from scratch and very high quality. I’ve eaten a lot of humus and that’s by far some of the very best! When I’m craving good hummus (or a high quality salad or pizza) this will e y go-to from now on!!
Outstanding first visit to Source! Food was absolutely amazing. Great indoor/outdoor atmosphere with good energizing music playing. Fast service, fresh food, friendly crew!
Highly recommend... we'll definitely be back.
Food and service is fantastic. The staff are really friendly. The food is sourced from Italy and you can really tell the quality is fresh and tasty. They have a nice outdoor patio with cooling misters. I plan on going back to try the sandwiches. You can buy fresh loaves of sourdough and focaccia. Ambiance is chill with relaxing vibe.
First and LAST visit to this place. The only good thing was the large patio with misting systems. The food was okay, nothing special and portions are tiny. They are stingy with napkins, plates, utensils and NO ICE TEA refills and the drink was in a half size glass. Rip off. Would not recommend, too many other better choices around. $ 64 for a hummus which looked like a bowl of oatmeal or vomit. No veggies. 2 personal size pizzas and 2 tiny teas.....we left hungry and with a lighter wallet. Stay away from this place, the employees looked miserable and were not friendly at all.
I expected so much more. Food was mid. If I’d been in an airport and received this for the price, I’d be happy, but in this competitive market, they need to step up their game.
