Even during the remodel, they have a really smooth operation! The lady that took our order (owner I think?) was super nice and brought us water and napkins. Excited to see the new changes!

Much to our surprise, the indoor dining area is closed and under construction. They do have misters out front and 2 little tables, but it was super humid today and hot so probably took away from the full experience. I was wishing there was a heads up on their site that reflected this. The sandwiches were good though…

Not impressed! Went to get a sandwich and the dining area is closed so you have to order outside. I stood outside and waited and nobody came to help so I had to leave as I didn’t want to wait in the heat. Hope they get things fixed. I don’t feel your response addresses the issue that your service did not meet expectations. It’s perfectly fine to submit a review when there is an issue and it’s not punishment. It’s an assessment of your business.

Im sure i’ll get crucified for this because this place is an icon in gilbert lol and don't get me wrong the food is very tasty, service is great and the vibes are awesome. However, the sandwiches in my opinion are very poorly put together (like one bite and everything falls out) and the fries are pretty bad (overcooked and very short). Idk if I've just been unlucky on the fries and who is making my sandwich, but it’s bad. Other than that the food is great and I will still keep going back. If everyone just gave 5 stars all the time there would be no place to improve right? 9/10 will always recommend going here still.

Came in because a friend recommended Surf City Sandwiches, I wasn't disappointed!! Kind and friendly cashier (they just do take out orders right now because of construction). The hot pastrami was INCREDIBLE! I took it to go and ate it 15 minutes later and it was just everything you want AND MORE from a pastrami sandwich! If you want a great sandwich, with great service at a good price GO HERE!

This is a 🥪 shop established in Santa Cruz California. Conveniently located next to the new Surfpark in Gilbert Arizona. They take some bold flavors to the extreme. There is something for everyone spicy, hot, cold, and flavor packed. The crew is pretty cool too 😎. Great for the whole family or a quick bite and some brews with friends. Portions are large to medium size. If you want something a little more healthy than scratch made potato 🥔 chips. The side salad is a cheap substitute but make sure you get the house dressing 🤌🤙have fun dudes and dudettes this is one sandwich shop as gnarly as it delicious. Surfs up! 🏄♂️ 🌊

My first time my sister has been her a few times This place is a great place to eat very clean good seating in door and out side they have the mist running during the summer very nice out on the patio Chris is awesome great customer service very friendly and come to your table makes sure everything is good and if you need anything that is great service. Food is very good garlic fries are off the chain sandwiches are delicious. This place is family ran business . Go by and check it you won’t be disappointed . 6/142025
