Don’t miss this memorable sushi restaurant just because of its humble location! We had a fantastic lunch date here on a Thursday. The artistic decor and relaxing music are very chill vibes, plus they have a nice little patio. We ordered the 9 piece sashimi lunch special, the salmon lovers roll (pictured) and the coconut chocolate crème brûlée. Delicious!! Great service, reasonable prices, lots of weekday deals and happy hour offerings, but the best part is their expansive and creative menu of inspired dishes. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall the food was a hit! We ordered 4 rolls but got an extra roll on the house due to a mess up. The sushi didn’t take too long to come out, and it tasted amazing. The lion roll seemed a little loose and fell apart really easily, but other than that the flavor was phenomenal. I love the atmosphere, fun music, cute decorations, and great energy.

I am obsessed with this sushi restaurant. The rolls are fresh, the staff are helpful and friendly and their chef at the counter is always awesome. He is attentive to dietary restrictions, makes rolls exactly to your specifications and he will ask questions instead of assuming anything with your order. That's top notch customer service as far as I'm concerned. To make this place even better... They have a GLUTEN FREE MENU. As a Celiac who loves to eat all kinds of food, this has made all the difference in making me feel comfortable enough to eat outside of my kitchen and actually enjoy myself at a meal without the anxiety of eating something that will make me sick.
I have traveled to Japan and eaten every kind of sushi out there but to find a place with authentic flavors and fresh, clean tasting fish out here in Arizona is almost unheard of! You have to try Sushiya if you enjoy Japanese food. Their baked mussels are to die for (ask them for GF options). The lunch specials are super tasty and their specialty rolls are fun and different while still keeping true Japanese flavor/quality. I can't get enough of this place.

There are a few different places we have in our regular rotation when we are craving sushi, and Sushiya is definitely at the top! Their fish is always so fresh and delicious. We love their quail eggs too! On this particular visit we also tried their "Sea Bacon" for the first time which is scallops wrapped in smoked salmon then torched. It was unlike anything we have ever eaten before! Super unique and yummy dish!

My husband and I have been coming here for 5-6 years. Since coming to Sushiya, we have yet to find better sushi elsewhere. The service is always great, the food tastes fresh and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The owner is also often there working, they are also very kind and often check in with the dining customers. We love this place!!
